Gardenia Country Inn

Fabulous gardens, absolutely wonderful staff, food was really tasty and a great breakfast. Our cabin was large and comfortable. Really relaxing

The grounds are gorgeous all planted with tons of flowers, ponds with flowering lilies, the chalet style of the venue and above all a stunning view of Mt Lokon, right from the restaurant deck.

Slightly removed from the center of town, but frankly I didn’t miss it.

Beautiful garden, flowers everywhere, stunning, amazing view from the restaurant on Lokon volcano.

We stayed 3 nights ( fri, sat, sun), the first 2 we didnt sleep due to loud speakers blasting in the area until past 2 am. 4 am the mosque and church sounds start which is no problem if you get to go to sleep. The party noise after midnight and the volume is. Sunday it stopped around midnight. Apparantly this is a known problem at this location. We sent the owner an e-mail but she didnt even bother to answer which would have made the world of difference. The amount you Pay ( at higher end for tomohon) for the lack of peace isnt in balance. Despite the beauty of the garden we would recommend you stay elsewhere. Dinner you order at 17:00’and agree on a time. The Food arrives at the table as soon you sit down, cold. That is a real shame… It seems a better place for lunch. We are not ‘complainers’. Not being able to sleep was though.
