Wonderful hospitality and such a welcoming friendly place to relax and enjoy the delights of Chiangmai. Marcel and his staff are extremely kind, breakfasts are a highlight and the pool is absolutely gorgeous. We only stayed two nights but we loved it all. A true little oasis.
A bit far from eateries etc but Grab is always an easy option.

A delightful stay that's tucked away from downtown Chiang Mai, Liam’s Guesthouse is like a serene oasis, with lush gardens, a tranquil pool and warm, attentive hosts who create an instantly welcoming atmosphere. This intimate, boutique-style setting strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm, along with genuine personal service. I would have loved to have stayed longer.

Marcel the Dutch host was very welcoming and forthcoming with information he had. There is a little pool there, and the food served in the hotel was good and fresh, and the menu sufficiently broad. Breakfast was great.
The location of the place is in a residential area to the north of the city. It is relatively quiet there as a result, not walking distance to anything useful, and getting in and out of the old town is a pain. Also, presumably because Marcel was Dutch, every single other guest staying was Dutch, so it felt like we were in Holland rather than Thailand.
