Old Town Cres Apartments

La pequeña habitación está en pleno centro del pueblo, pero en una calle lateral, por lo que en un simple paseo de dos minutos estás en la zona de ocio. A 5/10 minutos caminando se llega al paseo marítimo con todas las playas del pueblo. La cocina estaba bien equipada y el baño era grande. Todo estaba muy limpio. Tanto la anfitriona como la agencia fueron un encanto y se portaron genial con nosotros. Aparcamiento privado a solo 100 metros del aparcamiento.

Tiene una ventana muy pequeña y casi no deja pasar la luz, se hace un espacio oscuro. Tuvimos que pagar 10 euros por noche por nuestro perrito, algo que no entendemos, ya que no cambia nada por parte de la organización, nosotros llevamos todo lo necesario para él. Si es pet-friendly, es pet-friendly con todas las consecuencias, porque el precio de base no fue barato.

Sve je bilo odlično! Apartman je bio veoma čist, opremljen svime što je potrebno za duži ili kraći boravak. Nalazi se u samom centru grada, presladak i ušuškan, na samo par koraka do rive i manje od 5 minuta do plaže - što znači savešeno! U zadnji čas smo rezervisali i nismo se pokajali. Iako smo ostali kratko, ovo je definitivno bio jedan od boljih apartmana u kojem smo imali priliku biti. Vlasnica koja nas je dočekala je jako ljubazna i bila je tu za sve što nam je bilo potrebno. Rado ćemo opet doći!

Everything was clean and super cozy. To the old town center is only eleven stairs.

The only small problem was that there is no space to put wet swimwear when you come from the beach.

There was a lock up area for the car. Then walked a short way to the apartment. It was very clean and comfortable and an ideal location. Cres old town is just lovely, very quaint with lots of places to eat and take in the atmosphere. There was a male voice choir singing there in the evening.

The service from the Tourist centre where you pay and collect the keys was terrible. You can ONLY PAY IN CASH cards have a 4% extra charge. You need to collect the keys for this apartment from in town, if you are driving this is not easy. If you are alone driver almost impossible. It must be much worse in season.... Once paid, I was given a map and told to meet a housekeeper who would show us where to park, show us to the apartment and give us the keys. I was about to ask for a postcode for our sat nav but even before she had finished explaining things someone walked through the door, she was very excited to see him and totally ignored me and didn't even say goodbye. Finding the meeting place using the map was challenging and took us quite a while. Where we thought we should be there was a lady waiting so we stopped to see if it was her only to find that she spoke no English. We showed her our printed booking and she shook her head. We found a car park and turned around to go back to the tourist centre, we were not happy at all! As we drove past the lady stopped us and handed us her phone, it was the lady from the Tourist center, this was the woman we were meant to meet and she confirmed that she spoke no English quite handy for English tourists! Something to forewarn us of as it would have been helpful to know.
