Our overnight stop was an absolutely beautiful 18th-century mansion, Maison de Plumes. The owner, Nicolas, looked after us so well that we seriously considered bundling him into the car and taking him on the rest of the trip. Nothing was too much trouble. We were thoroughly spoiled. There was even a piano for me to play! Superb dinner, comfy bed and delicious breakfast with an added ingredient - a hot tub - pure unadulterated joy. Highly recommended.
The shower wasn't the best.

We had a fabulous time at Maison de Plumes. Nicolas was an amazing host, so friendly and welcoming and made you feel really at home. The food was absolutely delicious as well! Beautiful old house with loads of charm and character.

We loved the bulding and all the rooms. We were the only guests on the night we stayed so were able to see all the bedrooms. Nicolas was an extremely friendly and attentive host. The evening meal, cooked by him, using ingredients from his own garden, was delicious. The breakfast was just as good with fresh bread and croissants, home made jam and yoghurts.

Absolutely superb. A very warm welcome from Nicolas and Antonan. A beautiful house in a beautiful setting. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. We will definitely return.
