A fairy tale hotel with service like no other in an incredible location

This hotel has raised the bar on hotels for us, we have been traveling overseas for 15 years and the service here was the best we have ever experienced and it was authentic!!! The property feels like a fairy tale, the food was incredible and breakfast was wonderful. It was truly an experience, watching the little squirrel dance around the trees while having breakfast, the super friendly and lovely waiter at dinner while we ate Italian, my husbands mini birthday cake at breakfast… truly it was very very special.

A very good hotel. We all enjoyed our stay. Rooms, beds, meals were all excellent and the staff were great.

There could have been more choice on the children’s menu and the Wi-Fi connection was weak.

Breakfast was very good and the location excellent for cross country skiing Staff at the restaurant were very helpful and pleasant

The staff at the reception seemed to be stressed. They hardly welcomed us and they had issues getting the process done (during check-in and check-out). There was a blond woman sitting there who never greeted any of us and seemed to be harsh towards the staff. Welcoming and professional staff would be welcome !!

We love the place as always and surely will return.

The breakfast cold have been more generous. It was rather monotonous, no fresh fruits, tomato, pepper. The location was good, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The service between meals was slow and time consuming some times. Occasionally there were no waiters in the place to make orders or to clean the table. The food was very good but the choice was limited.

Close to bus station with easy access to St Moritz. Clean and comfortable. Good quality in-house restaurant. Top hygiene standards and good measurements for Covid. Nice decoration with antique furniture.

Same menu and exactly same food in both in-house restaurants. Majority of the staff can’t speak English, not easy for non-German speakers. No kettle or coffee-making machine in the room. Spa is very small and busy. We had full-body massage which was not full-body at all. In the breakfast room we were not let to sit on the window side tables since they were kind of reserved. The receptionist explained that it was due to Covid and they assigned a table for each guest based on the room type, but I have never seen in a hotel that window side is reserved for only superior rooms.

Ein absoluter Traum in atemberaubender Berglandschaft

War das zweite Mal in diesem Hotel und komme bestimmt wieder… es ist ein Traum und eine Nacht fühlt sich an wie eine halbe Woche. Das Personal ist super freundlich, das Frühstück einmalig und lässt keine Wünsche offen, das Zimmer duftet himmlisch nach Arve und im Wellnessbereich warten Nüsse, Feigen und frische Teesorten auf dich🥰

Het geheel ademt kwaliteit uit, er wordt echt gezocht om overal goed te presteren. Kwaliteit van de keuken mag nog eens extra vermeld worden.

Perfekte Verwöhn-Auszeit vom Alltag

Das Margna ist ein wunderschönes ruhiges und gediegenes Hotel, in welchem man sich rundum willkommen und wohl fühlt. Es hat alles was man sich wünscht, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen sehr gut, sei es das Frühstücksbuffet mit der tollen Auswahl oder das A-la-Carte Essen, unübertrefflich. Ein Ort, den man ungern wieder verlässt.

Schade, dass der Spabereich keinen Pool-Bereich hat. Es gibt aber diverse Dampfbäder und Sauna, ein Ruheraum mit Bergsicht und natürlich buchbare Behandlungen. Aber das weiss man wenn man im Margna bucht und es fehlte daher auch nicht.

Eine Reise wert

Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Da die Ankunft spät abends war, wurde angerufen und nach der ungefähren Ankunftszeit gefragt, mit dem Hinweis, dass das Resturant bald schliessen würde.

Das Personal beim Frühstück dürfte aufmerksamer sein.
