JT Curacao Apartments

A acomodação tem ótimas instalações para nos fazer sentir confortáveis. Os anfitriões são muito gentis e prestativos. A localização é um ótimo benefício: perto das praias e tranquilidade para descanso. Voltaremos 🤗

Prachtig, ruim en schoon appartement! Wij verbleven in het xxl penthouse met mega balkon en een heel wijds uitzicht over de wijk en op de tafelberg. Woning is gunstig en rustig gelegen, vlakbij Jan Thiel en de caracasbaai met genoeg leuke eetgelegenheden, stranden en supermarkt in nabije omgeving. Voldoende parkeerruimte voor de auto voor de deur. Het is wel erg winderig op het balkon en dit hoor je ook langs de slaapkamer ruizen, maar hierdoor ook geen last van muggen. Communicatie via huiseigenaar en beheerders verliep ook erg prettig en soepel. We hebben genoten en kunnen dit verblijf van harte aanbevelen!

We hebben een bezem en keukendoek gemist. Kussens op bankje op balkon zijn smoezelig. Twijfel of zwembad water in orde was. Mijn man kwam met jeuk eruit en de bikini van mijn dochter is geel-groen uitgeslagen.

We stayed in the Iguana apartment. The location is great, pool is very nice. The apartments are in a residential area that is quiet. The air conditioning works great, and the communal washer and grill are a nice touch (the booking.com listing implies that the washer is in the apartment, but be aware it is not - you are sharing with the rest of the building). The staff was also great and host was communicative.

Overall apartment was good, but there are a few things to be aware of. If you look at the photos, you’ll see the shower has quite a bit of mold along the grout and caulk lines. It looks like this is because the shower is not sloped enough so the water pools at the back of the shower instead of going down the drain - this could be easily fixed, but is an issue currently. Next the curtains are a light material and at night anyone outside can see right into your apartment. Lastly, the kitchenette is great, but the countertop is quite small and hard to do any true food prep. If you’re cooking for a lot of people it would be difficult.

Het was schoon en in verhouding met de prijs prima.

Parkeren kon niet op eigen terrein, maar is wel een must gezien de vele autodiefstallen. Beheerders op Curacao weten dat dit een vereiste is voor autoverhuurbedrijven. Geen werkende televisie en het internet viel regelmatig uit.
