Villa Bianca

The host gave us a warm welcome and kindly explained everything we needed to know about the place and shared other recommendations. We were greeted with a bottle of wine in the apartment, and everything was tidy. The terrace belonging to our apartment was very spacious and well furnished. On top of that, the sea view and the beautiful sunset were simply unforgettable.

Parking is limited, as you can only use whatever space you can find around the house, since the yard doesn’t have much room when other guests arrive. Although the beach is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment, the uphill climb on the way back is challenging, especially in higher temperatures. The air conditioning in the apartment wasn’t working at full capacity and emitted an unpleasant smell. The bathroom with the toilet is disproportionately small compared to the rest of the apartment, and you only get two toilet paper rolls. As for the kitchen, the stove is outdated by today’s standards. We received only two toilet paper rolls and not a single paper towel, and there were no basic seasonings like salt and pepper, which you would expect for this price.

From the second we arrived, we knew we were onto a winner! Hitka greeted us with open arms, like long lost family! We were gifted pancakes, watermelon and even alcohol free beer as I don’t drink, otherwise there's red wine on the table to greet you. We stayed in Apartment 1, which is quite small but had everything we needed for our stay. Hitka showed me around apartment 6 which is bigger and has panoramic views of the sea. We'll definitely go for that room next time although 1 for us was fine! The hob was adequate enough to prepare scrambled eggs for breakfast and the fridge has a small freezer to keep ice or as we did, froze water bottles to keep our lunch fresh for the beach. The shower was powerful and stayed at a continuous temperature. The view from the terrace is outstanding. We spent many hours staring at the beautiful sea and mountains, and listening to the birds sing from the forest behind. The only thing I would maybe change was the bed slats are very flexible so you do sink a bit in the middle. The mattress however was super comfortable so we just put it on the floor as my partner has a bad back. For me it was fine! About the area. It's mosquito season so bring your deet otherwise you will get bitten! We did but still got a few bites so also bring some bite cream. The beach is a short walk down the hill (please note, it's very steep on the way back up. If you have mobility or breathing problems, it will be tough) It's very busy so if you prefer it a bit quieter, walking either left or right round the coast line, you'll find somewhere away from the masses. There's plenty of bars, restaurants and toilets, shops that sell holiday necessities and two supermarkets along the beach as well as sunlounger and parasol hire, boat and submarine trips and massage. Cash is king here. Some restaurants and bars will only take cash so be prepared before you come as the numerous ATM's do charge.

The stay at Villa Bianca was wonderful. The apartament was very clean and cosy. Beautiful view from the terrace. Friendly and very helpful owners. Close to the beautiful beach, shops and restaurants. Our holidays were great, lots to see and a great place to rest. I sincerely recommend Trogir, especially the Villa Banca.

There is a Wonderdul seeview from the apartment, Hitka’s hospitality is one of the best that I experienced over the past years. The apartment is very clean , well-equiped and close to the most popular beach at Trogir (8 minutes on foot down to the hill). Also one of the best restaurant at Okrug is on the way to the beach (Mirkec).

Hello, I would like to express my gratitude for the hosts as they were the nicest we have ever met. The lady was welcoming us with bottle of wine and showed everything about flat when we arrived, the flat was really clean and has all basic kitchen equipments. We loved the terrace and the view was tremendous from the balcony! It is 10-15 mins by walk to get to the beach and 30 mins by walk to Trogir but you can take a boat taxi for 20 kuna one way. In real the flat looks much better than you could expect so you will be lucky to stay here for such fair price. It is perfect for couples and families. Also, there are books and games available downstairs so you will always have something to read at the beach. When we checked out the host gave us small souvenir and we will have always warm memories about this place, and we will definitely advise this villa to our friends… just small tip if you dont use Turkish coffee pot bring yours ☺️ and no heals needed as it is Okrug Gornji and you will walk up a lot 😁
