Our hotel stay and its restaurant were first-rate; the location was central.

Chef smoked under our room

The hotel had character.

Dinner was over cooked, dried and hard. The chef claimed that was how a pork chop was supposed to be cooked. The bedroom room was charming but the temperature was warm, so we had the bathroom window open. Unfortunately, at 6 am, staff and suppliers start arriving at the back door to the hotel and our room was above this door. Loud conversations between the chef and the suppliers woke us up. But the awful part was their cigarette smoke. Being woke up with loud conversations and cigarette smoke would ruin anyone’s stay! Which it did.

Long weekend in the alps

The sauna in the basement is really nice.

The staff really cares about the health of the guests and reminds people to follow the new hygiene rules which includes wearing the mask and gloves when taking food at the buffet.

Breakfast excellent, good value for money. Hotel Adler was a good choice. Nice welcome and good recommendations for a walk.

Yes, there is a house close to the hotel, which is just being built at the moment. There might be some noise during the day, but Oberstaufen is a nice place. There's no need to stay in your hotel room during the day!

Im Wellnessbereich gibt es eine Saunagrotte und eine infrarotkabine; echt toll! Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man dort gut essen!

Das Whirlpool im Wellnessbereich und das Laufband im Fitnessraum waren defekt!

Prima hotel/pension. Sliep in een 1 persoonskamer. Was ruim genoeg en netjes. Geen koelkastje en tv enkel met Duitse zenders. Ontbijt was verzorgd. Ligging prima.

toller Kurztrip ins Allgäu - beim nächsten Mal sehr gern wieder ins Hotel Adler ! :-)

sehr freundliches + aufmerksames Personal; tolle zentrale Lage mitten im Ort, alles fußläufig bestens erreichbar; umfangreiches Frühstücksbüffet; sehr schönes altes Gebäude, super saniert und Zimmer recht neu und sehr schön neu renoviert + designt ; sehr gutes à-la-carte-Essen (klassisch bayrisch-allgäuer Küche) im hoteleigenen Restaurant mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und sehr aufmerksamem und flinkem Personal

Parkplatzsituation etwas beengt und schwierig, recht wenige Parkplätze für Gäste; bei Bahn-Anreise sicherlich einfacher

Kurzurlaub in ausgezeichneter Lage

Sehr gute Lage und schöner Biergarten, der leider geschlossen war 😟 Parken ist direkt am Hotel möglich 👍

Bei unserer Ankunft gab es einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch nach Toilette, welcher sich bis zur Rezeption ausbreitete. Duschen in der Badewanne ist nicht sehr komfortabel, dafür war der Preis unangemessen. Die Betten waren allerdings sehr bequem. Das Frühstück hat noch Luft nach oben.

Locatie prima maar kamer om over te slaan.

Locatie was gunstig in het centrum gelegen.

Gezien onze kamef (16) precies boven de personeelsingang en keuken lag was heel veel herrie (zoals het weggooien van fust, onderling praten en borrelen van personeel met luidruchtig gepraat). In de ochtend veel herrie van opruimen van de avond ervoor.

Gutes , ruhiges Allgäuerhotel im Zentrum gelegen

Wir wurden im Gästehaus einquartiert, was sich als nicht schlecht herausstellte. Die Sauna im Haupthaus konnten wir benutzen, Bademäntel standen zur Verfügung.

Das Restaurant hatte am Mittwoch geschlossen, so dass wir nicht aus der hochgepriesenen Adlerküche verköstigt werden konnten. Die Angebote des Frühstücks waren gut. Etwas verwirrend war die Anordnung an 3 verschiedenen Standorten. Den Preis für die Hotellerie erachten wir als zu hoch.

2 schöne Tage

Sehr gutes Frühstück, man ist in diesem Hotel wirklich Gast! Alle sind freundlich, das Essen ist sehr gut und die Zimmer sind klasse. Es gibt nix zu beanstanden.

Enttäuschend

Breites Frühstücksbufett, modernes Badezimmer

Keine richtige Begrüßung bei der Ankunft, das Zimmer im EG des Gästehauses sehr duster, Fenster kann nicht geöffnet bleiben, weil direkt von der Straße aus zugänglich. Zwei Versuche, im Lokal etwas zu essen bzw. zu trinken, jedesmal vom Personal ignoriert. Furchtbare, nicht überhörbare Dudelmusik aus den 70er Jahren zum Frühstück.
