Comfortable hotel with great staff in a great location

The friendly, helpful and courteous front desk staff. The manager and young lady on reception on a Sunday evening were extremely helpful explaining hotel procedures and giving us valuable advice on where and where not to eat in Dijon. All the conversation were in English which was appreciated. The young lady on reception works until quite late into the evening and is back early the next day to organise breakfast, always pleasant and smiling.

Everything is good considering this is a budget hotel not a five establishment in a fantastic location to explore Dijon on foot

Friendly hotel close to the city centre

Friendly staff, cool comfortable room (it was very hot so we were very grateful for the air conditioning!), great location. There was no private parking but we were able to park our car right outside the hotel. It was a short walk from the hotel to the centre of town. Good breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome.

It would have been nice to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

comfortable clean and close to centre of town

This hotel is good for easy and cheap on street parking, within walking distance to centre, (bars resteraunts, sites etc)

only negative, if you arrive earlier than check in time there is no where to wait. We arrived in 35 degrees of heat but got lucky, a resident let us in.

Good place for a short stay

It was close to the train station near the centre of Dijon. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Late check-in after 15:00 (we arrived on a public holiday and check-in was 17:00). Room smelled musty and was small. Also it says there is a bar and has room service however that is not the case.

Nice hotel but check-in times not as advertised

Parking outside and convenient location

Check-in was at 3pm but when we arrived a sign on door said check-in was at 5pm so had to hang around for two hours which was so annoying. Room was too hot and desk staff told me it was programmed to that temp and there was nothing they could do about it.

Great location, staff could improve on kindness.

The location is excellent. The rooms and the breakfast area are quite new and comfortable, good beds. The price is fair and I would stay there again.

The staff has the bad habit of saying "I told you this yesterday, I already gave you this info." Not only to my family, but to other costumers as well. That's rude and the costumer has the right to ask twice for an information, no reason for impatience. The breakfast is very basic, with no warm and salty option, and no fresh fruit. For 12euro I'm France, that could be improved.

Not the best

The porter who checked us in was brilliant. Only a young guy but one of the best I have ever seen anywhere. The location was also OK and we could park our motorbikes in the courtyard. The price was also OK.

I don't norllhave too many bad things to say bout anywhere but here we go. We thought that the photos were a bit misleading. The large beautiful building was not after all the hotel. The rooms and particularly the bathrooms looked a lot better on the photos. Our friend had a problem with the warm water. The rooms were a bit run down. The beds were comfortable but the bed cover had a hole I it. We had to ask for another towel. The shower was very small and the rather old shower curtain blew in and stuck to you. The saving grace at this hotel was really the lad on reception. I think any hotel would be happy to have him working for them.

Great location. Friendly staff. Well stocked breakfast. Big bathroom. Decent shower. Gave us extra shower gel when asked as there was only one in the room for 2 people. Ample and cheap parking around the hotel.

Bed was against the wall so my fiance had to climb in. Reception didn't open until 5 so there was a queue to check in. No hand towels, only shower towels which weren't particularly big. No hot drink facilities.

Good place for a stopover

Parking was convenient, and the staff were helpful. Dog friendly.

The room was quite small, ok for one night, though. The shower head was quite old, water coming out of only part of it although good pressure.

Disappointing, better stay somewhere else.

The location was very good, just a short walk from the train station. And also close to the city center.

There are too many issues with the hotel for me to be happy about it. The shower had little water pressure and the water was always cold. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The room had no cleaning service. And the staff either didn't speak English or didn't want to.

The attention is really incredible, this hotel deserves a 3 star, very clean, organized and its location is really perfect. The gentleman speaks Spanish, French and English, excellent to feel at home

- Handily located between train station and centre of town - Bathroom was recently renovated with a spacious shower - Comfortable bed

- Ground floor room was close to the road & passers-by’s, might be issues with noise if you like open windows.

Very convenient for the town centre - à five minute stroll. Comfortable room and pleasant staff. Good value and ideal for an overnight stay en route. On street parking readily available in immediate vicinity of hotel (4€ per day!)

This hotel is a good value. No frills but the location was great and the room was clean.

Location was good, close to city center. Owners were very friendly. Room was clean.

Towels were very thin. Tv only had French stations. Bed was hard.
