Ibersol Almuñecar Beach & Spa Hotel

De ligging is uitstekend aan zee, er is ondergronds parkeergelegenheid, alles zeer netjes, personeel heel vriendelijk, prijs kwaliteit uitstekend, lekker ontbijt.

Erg was dat niet, maar het restaurant was in zelfbediening en ongezellig ingericht. We gingen dus uit eten in de buurt waar toevallig twee bijzonder goede restaurants zijn. Maar voorts viel alles bijzonder goed mee.

Lovely place! We really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic, right in front of the beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful views and the sea. The staff were wonderful and always friendly and helpful. There were plenty of activities and entertainment options available around the pool area, which added to the overall experience. The room was cleaned daily and kept in great condition. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return.

The cocktails at the bar were very disappointing. They seemed to be made from pre-mixed supermarket-style cocktail bags rather than being freshly prepared on the spot. Because of that, they couldn’t be customized, and to be honest, they tasted quite bad. That said, I really appreciated that they offered happy hour specials and a drink of the day, which was a nice touch.

Good location, staff welcoming and helpful. Suite was good size. Big private terrace area. Nice big bed. Fine for a couple of nights.

Generally poor quality food. Breakfast was passable but not good. Tried the evening buffet once, really poor. Room grubby around the edges and a bit tired. Feels like they get a cursory wipe over but no attention to detail. Sofa bed cover and blankets clearly not laundered between changeovers.
