BLUESEA Arenal Tower Adults Only

We booked this hotel on an all-inclusive basis, including three meals a day and drinks at the bar. First of all, I would like to mention that the night-shift staff member was very kind and welcoming. He greeted us warmly and explained everything about the meals, our room, and the Wi-Fi. We really appreciated his helpfulness. However, unfortunately, there were quite a few disappointing aspects during our stay. The room was very old and clearly needs renovation. The wooden floor was swollen and separating in several places. The drawers and wardrobe were also very old and felt like they were falling apart. The sliding door leading outside was extremely difficult to open because it was so heavy. The bathroom was very small and realistically only comfortable for one person at a time. The bed also made loud noises whenever we moved. The dining area was quite small, although the staff regularly refilled the food, which was good. Unfortunately, the plates were often wet and very thin, and some of them were still dirty. On one occasion, I found a plate that still had a significant amount of tomato sauce on it. This really put me off eating. On the positive side, the male staff member working in the dining area, who was very friendly and welcoming, helped create a much nicer atmosphere. Andrea, one of the female staff members, also did a very good job and was helpful. There was also an incident that was particularly concerning. At around 4:20 a.m. one night, the fire alarm suddenly went off and woke us up. However, apparently nothing had happened. A staff member simply told us, “It’s OK, sorry, sorry.” We were left confused and never received any proper explanation about what had happened. The biggest disappointment came on our last day. A housekeeper knocked on our door and then unlocked and entered our room without waiting for us to open the door. She told us that check-out was at 11:00 a.m. and that we should leave. Her tone was quite rude and aggressive. We explained that our booking clearly stated check-out at 12:00 p.m., which was actually one of the reasons we chose this hotel. At that moment, we were also already packing our belongings. Shortly afterwards, another female staff member came to the door and spoke to us rudely in Spanish, telling us that we had to check out and giving us only five minutes to finish packing. We explained again that our booking stated 12:00 p.m. and that we intended to leave at the time stated on our reservation. After a while, a male staff member came and spoke to us in English. He explained that the hotel’s check-out policy had changed two years ago and that the correct check-out time was now 11:00 a.m. However, nobody had informed us about this change. By that point, we had already finished packing, so we decided not to stay any longer. We told the staff that the hotel should also inform the booking agency/platform about the updated check-out policy so that other guests do not experience the same confusion. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service, especially because of the way the check-out situation was handled. We would happily visit this area again, but unfortunately, we would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

The Room's are good but the beds are to bad and uncomfortable and loud when u set on the bed .
