The hotel is lovely, the staff wonderful and the facilities are great. Our two rooms were a good size and the beds very comfy. The bathrooms are tiny and dated and did not fit with the great bedroom size. The breakfast is good, but split over two rooms, which is ok, but requires some walking to and fro. The quality is pretty good, although the coffee was a bit average. The facilities are excellent; great outdoor area and pool and the wellness area (sauna etc) was lovely. There was never a shortage of sun beds and the natural tree shade was lovely. The area suited us. Good walking etc. Minimal walkable eateries. We are from the UK and it appeared unusual for UK people to stay; we had a lot of comments saying this. Everybody, staff and guests were super friendly and we never felt uncomfortable.

It was the small things that lower the score. The bathroom was tiny and not really sufficient room for anything. The price is quite expensive (we did B&B and the full board is probably better value but didn't want to eat in the hotel every night) and would have expected there to be availability to free water dispensing machines (for example) but filtered tap water is 3,90 for half a litre and the coffee machines are turned off at the end of breakfast. Small things, but those type of penny pinching elements create a view it is about money and not service. As noted above, staff were all super friendly and if in the area would stay again.

Very attentive and friendly owner. Staff well-mannered and accommodating. Travelled with two children; hotel had already prepared beds for them before check-in. Excellent meals, drinks were very affordable. Pool was nice, and sauna facilities appreciated; towels and bathrobes were provided. Workout space very nice, and location near skiing was perfect (winter reservation).

Unsure if our room was really well cleaned or not, even with tipping the cleaning staff before they entered. We noticed that the cups in the sink didn't seem replaced or washed after our usage, and the bathtub did not appear to be checked or cleaned before we returned in the late afternoon. Face towels were not replaced, nor bath salts. We noticed that the bottles of water and coffee/tea were not replaced between nights. The walls in our room (Prinzregent I) were a bit thin; we could hear the next room's TV left on all night at high volume. When we called the front desk in the middle of the night to ask the hotel staff to ask the guests to turn their TV down, nobody answered (called twice; albeit it was 3:15 AM). Eventually, we had to bang on the wall, and the guests next door woke up and realized their TV was too loud. After that, we could clearly hear them snoring. There was no printed guidance or advice in the room about Internet access, nor on some type of intra-hotel TV channel. We also didn't see any explicit posting anywhere in the hotel. In the end, we just used our telephone tethers to access the Internet.

the location was good for the Alm Abtrieb

the staff was poorly trained. the internet system did not work due to a mistake made at the reception on check in! the management is not customer focused. the decorations are garish and laud. the advertisement is not reality. one has the feeling of random decisions not consistent for the customers. DEFINITELY NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL FROM MY EXPERIENCE! maybe a 2+. I will never stay here again!

I enjoyed the hospitality at the hotel very much. The food was excellent and the wellness area fabulous. I will re-visit the hotel soon again and play golf in the area.

The parking garage is a little tight for large cars but manageable.
