Lovely hotel, great staff, shame about the penny pinching.

The hotel is lovely, the staff wonderful and the facilities are great. Our two rooms were a good size and the beds very comfy. The bathrooms are tiny and dated and did not fit with the great bedroom size. The breakfast is good, but split over two rooms, which is ok, but requires some walking to and fro. The quality is pretty good, although the coffee was a bit average. The facilities are excellent; great outdoor area and pool and the wellness area (sauna etc) was lovely. There was never a shortage of sun beds and the natural tree shade was lovely. The area suited us. Good walking etc. Minimal walkable eateries. We are from the UK and it appeared unusual for UK people to stay; we had a lot of comments saying this. Everybody, staff and guests were super friendly and we never felt uncomfortable.

It was the small things that lower the score. The bathroom was tiny and not really sufficient room for anything. The price is quite expensive (we did B&B and the full board is probably better value but didn't want to eat in the hotel every night) and would have expected there to be availability to free water dispensing machines (for example) but filtered tap water is 3,90 for half a litre and the coffee machines are turned off at the end of breakfast. Small things, but those type of penny pinching elements create a view it is about money and not service. As noted above, staff were all super friendly and if in the area would stay again.

Lovely location and accommodating staff. Excellent food and well-mannered guests.

Very attentive and friendly owner. Staff well-mannered and accommodating. Travelled with two children; hotel had already prepared beds for them before check-in. Excellent meals, drinks were very affordable. Pool was nice, and sauna facilities appreciated; towels and bathrobes were provided. Workout space very nice, and location near skiing was perfect (winter reservation).

Unsure if our room was really well cleaned or not, even with tipping the cleaning staff before they entered. We noticed that the cups in the sink didn't seem replaced or washed after our usage, and the bathtub did not appear to be checked or cleaned before we returned in the late afternoon. Face towels were not replaced, nor bath salts. We noticed that the bottles of water and coffee/tea were not replaced between nights. The walls in our room (Prinzregent I) were a bit thin; we could hear the next room's TV left on all night at high volume. When we called the front desk in the middle of the night to ask the hotel staff to ask the guests to turn their TV down, nobody answered (called twice; albeit it was 3:15 AM). Eventually, we had to bang on the wall, and the guests next door woke up and realized their TV was too loud. After that, we could clearly hear them snoring. There was no printed guidance or advice in the room about Internet access, nor on some type of intra-hotel TV channel. We also didn't see any explicit posting anywhere in the hotel. In the end, we just used our telephone tethers to access the Internet.

the location was good for the Alm Abtrieb

the staff was poorly trained. the internet system did not work due to a mistake made at the reception on check in! the management is not customer focused. the decorations are garish and laud. the advertisement is not reality. one has the feeling of random decisions not consistent for the customers. DEFINITELY NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL FROM MY EXPERIENCE! maybe a 2+. I will never stay here again!

Definitely worth a visit, I recommend it.

I enjoyed the hospitality at the hotel very much. The food was excellent and the wellness area fabulous. I will re-visit the hotel soon again and play golf in the area.

The parking garage is a little tight for large cars but manageable.

The price of drinks including wines were very reasonable. I like their philosophy in running their hotel. Most of the wines in the list were within €30. I couldn't able to find a bottle of wine under €50 in most of the Austrian hotels.

It wasn't a problem to me....but it was an issue to lot of customers. The wifi was very bad and the data reception was very bad either. It doesn't cost very much to provide a good wifi.

Gerne wieder eine wohltuende Auszeit zum Seele baumeln lassen.

Lage des Hotels. Super freundliches Personal und warmherziger Empfang mit einem Begrüßungs-Prosecco. Auch das nachmittägliche Buffet. Saunabereich und Ruhebereich bei den 08er Zimmern. Trotz der hohen Anzahl an Besuchern hat es sich in den Wellnessbereichen sehr gut aufgeteilt.

Ich kann nur für einen Abend sprechen und weiß nicht, wie es sonst gehandhabt wird. Die Saunen können bis 22Uhr benutzt werden und Samstag Abend waren wir noch um 19:30 saunieren und es gab keine sauberen Gläser und Handtücher mehr. Die benutzen Gläser wurden auch solange die da waren nicht aufgeräumt und nicht ausgetauscht.

Hotel in sehr schöner, ruhiger Umgebung. Großes Zimmer, sehr ruhig, schöner, großer Wellnessbereich mit großem Indoorpool, tolles Massageangebot. Sehr leckeres Essen. Und dazu ein sehr freundliches Personal.

Gutes Hotel, aber nicht aussergewöhnlich :)

Die Saunalandschaft ist gross und abwechslungsreich. Die Lage des Hotels ist super und es hat einen kleinen Fitnessbereich. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war wirklich gross und sauber. Das Morgenbuffet war riesig, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker.

Grundsätzlich war der Aufenthalt gut, es gab aber einige Dinge, die man verbessern könnte: Es hat nur sehr wenige Liegemöglichkeiten in beiden Bade/Saunabereichen, gerade am Samstag war bereits ab 12Uhr alles voll. Becher und Tücher wurden im Adults Only Saunabereich nicht nachgefüllt, so dass man ab 16Uhr nichts mehr trinken konnte und keine frischen Tücher mehr hatte. Mehrere Geräte im Fitness funktionieren nicht. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist OK, aber etwas alt mit Teppichboden.

Tolles Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub. Schöner Wellnessbereich, super leckeres Essen, Besonders nettes Personal und die kleine Jause zur Mittagszeit war eine schöne Überraschung, mit der wir nicht gerechnet haben.

Grosser Spabereich. Verschiedene Saunen. Die in der unteren Etage waren neuer und besser/schöner ausgestattet. Sehr weiche Bademäntel. Zimmer 215 sehr gross mit Sitzecke. Grosses Bett. Leider kein zweites Kissen im Schrank. Grossartiges Frühstücksbuffet. Alles da.

Sehr weitläufig. Labyrinth. Man kann sich verlaufen. Whirlpool nach mir zu kalt. Dürfte angenehm wärmer sein und der Startknopf fürs Sprudel war eine Leine die ausserhalb des Pools war. Nicht fein.

Das Hotel hat schon bessere Jahre erlebt.

Die Zimmergrösse war sehr gut, ebenso die Betten sind komfortabel. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich bis gut.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Teppichböden sind ausgetreten. Das Schwimmbad ist etwas veraltet. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr verwinkelt, nicht barrierefrei und wir fanden unser Zimmer bei der Anreise nur mit Hilfe des Personals.

Das Wlan hat in fast der hälfte der Zeit nicht funktioniert. Da ich auch gearbeitet habe, war das leider sehr ärgerlich. Das Personal konnte mir auch nicht weiterhelfen. Es wäre schön gewesen zu erfahren das es 2 Wellness Bereiche gibt. Wir waren ja doch 1 Woche dort. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr lecker, aber für meinen Geschmack sehr viel Fett. Das Wasser im kalte Becken im Wellnessbereich dürfe öfter gewechselt werden.

Es waren fünf erholsame Tage in einem tollen Hotel!

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sehr wohl dort. Selten so ein tolles Personal in einem Hotel erlebt, man fühlte sich sehr willkommen von allen. Wellness, Massage, Essen und die Lage zum wandern sehr zu empfehlen, gern mal wieder.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Hervorzuheben ist wirklich das geschulte, immer freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Der Geburtstag meines Mannes wurde offensichtlich durch die Buchungsdaten von der Rezeption wahrgenommen, weiter gegeben und an dem Tag mit einer hübschen Tischdeko und einem kleinen Kuchen mit Kerze gewürdigt. Das ist Service und Gastlichkeit! Wellnessbereich war nicht überfüllt, das Essen gut und reichlich, auch vegetarisch. Die ayurvedische.Behandlung von Pasquale war kompetent, einfühlsam und sehr wohltuend. Vielleicht wichtig zu wissen: trotz Aufzug ist dies kein barrierearmes Hotel.

Wir waren etwas enttäuscht, dass unser Zimmer keinen Balkon hatte und wir fanden es etwas dunkel. Die Kopfkissen leider unbequem, etwas altmodisch.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem großzügigen Hotelpark mit Pool und Liegen. Das Frühstücksbüffet sowie das Abendessen waren hervorragend. Hervorzuheben ist auch die Freundlichkeit vom Personal. Ob Rezeption oder Restaurant waren alle sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lage ist zum wandern optimal. Mit der Gästekarte kann man kostenlos mit dem Bus fahren. Die Haltestelle wenige Schritte entfernt.

Unfassbar teuer und nicht Baby-freundlich

Frühstück und Wellness erschienen gut. Lage auch

- kein Babybett trotz Anfrage und Bestätigung - Zimmer im „EG“ aber Zugang nur über eine Treppe zum Frühstückssaal sogar mehrere Treppen (es sei denn man ginge im Regen durch den Parkplatz) als Single Reisende mit einem Säugling ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Kind konnte im Kinderwagen nicht liegen bleiben und im Zimmer selber sodann nicht sicher „geparkt“ werden um den Kinderwagen zu holen. Unfassbar ! Hilfe wurde nie angeboten auch nicht mit Gepäck. - beim Check-in wurde nicht mal erklärt, wo sich was befindet - zum Zimmer wurde ich so schnell geführt, dass das Personal voran lief und mich aussperrte wegen des Kinderwagens (extra Tür mit Treppe und Zugang nur mit Zimmer Karte) - schlechtes deutsch des Personals - niemand auch nicht beim Frühstück (nur möglich mit 3 Monate alten Baby auf dem Arm da nicht zugänglich mit Kinderwagen) hat jemals seine Hilfe angeboten - Ausstattung Bad aus dem letzten Jahrhundert (Fön und Duschkopf, WC dreckig) -nur unschönes Duschgel keine sonstigen Produkte wie bodylotion ( bei dem Preis …) - Zimmer direkt beim Schwimmbad (das einzige Zimmer was sich dort befand) - ständiger Chlor Geruch und hohe Temperaturen - Zimmer zu klein für den Kinderwagen - Preis absurd hoch : 800 EUR für ein Einzelzimmer für 3 Nächte - Parkplatz immer belegt trotz Ankündigung dass man mit Auto kommt (auch super mit Baby) - beim bestellen eines Getränks auf der Terrasse wurde ich schnippisch gefragt, ob ich überhaupt Hotel Gast sei- man habe mich noch nie gesehen .. (wieso wohl - Frühstück war nicht machbar mit Kind..) - sehr hellhörig Insgesamt keine 3 Sterne

Traumhafter Kurzaufenthalt und eine schöne Auszeit

Sowohl das Abend-Menü als auch das Frühstück waren ausgezeichnet, ausreichend und auf hohem Niveau. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Zimmer sehr ruhig. Die beruhigenden Kuhglocken-Klänge von draußen sorgen ebenfalls für ein erholsames Gefühl. Der Wellnessbereich ist angenehm, das Schwimmbecken ausreichend groß um auch ein paar Bahnen schwimmen zu können. Das Personal ist TOP - und das von Beginn an bis spät in der Bar.

Die Zimmer sind etwas rustikal, aber ansonsten gut ausgestattet und absolut in Ordnung. Das Hotel insgesamt ist etwas verwinkelt, was aber letztlich auf die Entstehungsgeschichte zurückzuführen ist. Die Aufzüge sind unangenehm klein und eng. Auf den Liegen im Schwimmbad fehlten teilweise die Auflagen, was dann auf Dauer etwas unbequem war.

Nur als Tipp, kein Meckern :) Man hat an der ein oder anderen Stelle gemerkt, dass das Personal für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie etwas besser hätte geschult werden können. Aber hier sprechen wir wirklich von Kleinigkeiten, die ich jedoch in einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse erwarte.

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für entspannte Wohlfühltage im schönen Allgäu

Traumhafter Wellnessbereich mit Innepool und 2 Saunabereiche mit jeweils 90 Grad Sauna, Biosauna, und Dampfbad. Infrarotkabine, Infrarotliegen und einem grossen Garten mit Aussenpool. Schönes Restaurant mit heimeligem Ambiente.

Einzig die Beleuchtung im Eingangsbereich des Zimmers, wie auch Badezimmer hat uns nicht so gefallen, da es sich um kaltes Licht handelt. Dies ist jedoch Geschmacksache.

Absolut zu empfehlen.

Alle Wünsche wurden beim Frühstück erfüllt. Pool innen und außen sehr schön, Zimmer sind groß aber es wird in den Räumen schnell sehr heiß, der Essbereich sollte klimatisiert sein.

Das Abendessen war teilweise etwas ausgefallen uns hat die typische Allgäuer Küche gefehlt, sehr hohe Getränkepreise.
