This is a wonderful small hotel perfectly located for exploring Presqu’île and Vieux Lyon.

We loved the location, and the staff were exceptional. While the room was small it was well laid out and well appointed. Breakfast was very good, although a bit expensive.

It was a very pleasant, relaxed stay in an ideal location with incredible restaurants everywhere!

The staff were always very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a very smart, chilled art deco vibe. The highlight was the lovely, simple 'express breakfast' delivered to the room every morning.

The 'relaxation pools' had real character and charm, but were maybe a little impractical and could have ideally been a little warmer.

* would have liked facilities to make a drink in room although we knew about this when we booked * the bed was positioned very close to the door of ensuite bathroom- would be easy to reposition bed to reduce this inconvenience

Enjoyable City break, Lyon is a wonderful City.

Location was perfect for touring the city. The OldTown was just across the bridge which was teeming with bars and restaurants and a very good flea market. The cathedral (Fourviere) is magnificent in fact puts Notre Dame in Paris in the shade.

Loved it. Amazing location and the pool was very cute.

No parking and it was tricky as we had a top box. Thankfully the staff took pity on us and let us park overnight in front of the hotel.

A great place to stay when visiting Lyon.

Great location, easy walk to old town or to metro.

Not replacing water bottles. I know it’s a small thing but would be nice to have when returning from a hot day out. Also toiletries supplied we a bit dismal.

The kids absolutely loved the relaxation pool. The location was brilliant, we were close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see, and were surrounded by great places to eat.

We reported a problem with the toilet flushing before leaving for dinner. Upon arriving we were told it was seen to by a staff member but were unable to fix it so we were offered a free drink at the bar, but left us to deal with our toilet 🚽 necessities unresolved. Other words, a dirty toilet all night and next morning as the hotel was fully booked. Unacceptable! After one hour of complaining well into midnight another member of staff did fix it. We were unimpressed with the lack of customer care of the first member of staff we approached. The hotel was very apologetic afterwards

We loved our little place.

The pool was beautiful and a wonderful escape mid afternoon. The location was great and the bar next door Hansel and Gretel was wonderful.

The comforter on the bed needs an upgrade. Felt old school like it is reused night after night.

That was not up to my expectations . Poor selection of fruit. Cheese very basic. No variety. Cold eggs. Fruit salad, fresh orange juice and choice of cakes would be preferable.

Very bad value for money

Only the location in the heart of the city centre was a good thing

Rooms were the tiniest ever seen considering it’s a 4 star and the price we paid for the stay. Facilities are old and you can hear literally everything from the neighbour rooms - the first night we had a very silent couple staying next door but we could hear even when they were whispering, the second night we had a couple who did very bad noise all night long and it was like having them in our room, a nightmare. We couldn’t sleep at all and despite calling reception and flagging the issue nothing was done.

Best of the old and the new in this hotel and with a great location!

Excellent breakfast buffet. Better price if you buy when you make room reservations. Front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful with directions, etc. Room was quiet and sunny. “Roman baths “ pools built in medieval age stone foundations were amazing.

Comfortable hotel with lots of character and friendly, helpful staff.

We really liked the unique style of the hotel, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the location. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the main city centre and old town centre and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The beds were firm but comfortable and the rooms were clean and had air conditioning. We also enjoyed the hotel's rather unusual relaxation pools which were in the basement.

The rooms were quite compact and tea/coffee making facilities weren't automatically provided. (Although, the hotel were able to provide a kettle and cups when asked and there's a convenience shop just over the road for supplies).

great ! Coffee should be complementary & need to be upgraded variety . I think perhaps for price a simple ala Cart should be included . Overall, it was lovely and a great location.
