Nice stopover

The hotel is just out of the town centre adjoining a LeClerc, so plenty of parking!!. We had a warm welcome from our hosts and were able to store our bikes in a locked area. The room had everything we needed, was clean and the bathroom worked well. As others before us have said, we ate at O Saveurs Alsacienne, just down the road.

Nothing, the hotel is a little dated, but the friendly welcome compensated.

The location was perfect for us. Virtually on the EV1 cycle route and right next to a supermarket. Friendly staff. Clean but small room with a comfortable bed. Very small but functional bathroom. Secure bicycle parking.

Small and slightly dated room. Shower head didn’t give a nice strong jet of water.

Noise through the night, banging what sounded like metal sauce pans, once at 03:00 and again at 04:30. Sink leaked all over floor.

Clean, comfortable and great value for money

The welcome was extremely friendly and our room was very comfortable. We had been a bit concerned about parking in a Le Clerc car park, but it worked very well - there are spaces directly outside the hotel and we needn't have worried. We stayed on a Monday and not many restaurants were open in Redon for dinner, but the nearest (a pizzeria that looked unappealing from the outside) turned out to be great with a good menu and lovely terrace. Breakfast was very good value at the hotel - better than most other places we stayed at. If we're in the area we will stay here again.

The hotel was clean, friendly and safe; there was nothing to dislike about it at all.

Superb

Although located at the back of a retail Parc (with a big Le Clerc and Decathalon) it is well located off the Velodyssee and there was a warm welcome for cyclists. Very helpful staff made it an enjoyable stay. I recommend the Alsace restaurant along the road after a long day cycling! Thank you.

just a short walk to town when we found bridge which avoided busy main road.Good breakfast plenty of parking.

We took picture of cracked sink but they didnt seem bothered.Hotel in hypermarket car park so although handy to buy things but not a view of cloick and collect.Every time its ready it dings.

Location convenient for the cycle route and supermarket. We have stayed here before and always found it good value. On this occasion the staff were particularly helpful with a problem we had encountered on the way there. There is also secure bicycle storage.

Hotel on a super cycling route.

We are a couple of mature cyclists. We ebiked a route through Brittany and Vendee avoiding large towns , staying in a variety of hotels. We stayed in Redon on both our outward and home bound ride. It is in a attractive location. Canals and well maintained cycle tracks. The building is on a commercial estate but has all the facilities tired cyclists need. The breakfast was good and the bike storage excellent .

In the early morning it was noisy outside as the hotel is next to the shopping centre and delivery service trucks are coming and going.

Schönes Hotel in interessanter Lage

Das Hotel liegt 5 Gehminuten von Redon aus auf dem Gelände eines großen Einkaufszentrums. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört, sondern war sehr praktisch, weil man seine Einkäufe, die wir für unsere Fahrradtouren brauchten, in wenigen Minuten erledigen konnten. Einziger, kleiner Nachteil: morgens sehr früh wurden Waren für das EKZ mit LKW angeliefert. Ansonsten war es nachts absolut ruhig. Wenige Gehminuten entfernt befinden sich 3 sehr gute Restaurants. Bei Bedarf reserviert der freundliche Hotelier für einen die notwendigen Plätze. Das Frühstück war typisch französich, also eher überschaubar. Wir hatten Redon als Ausgangspunkt für Fahrradtouren am Canal Nantes a Brest gewählt, was sich als ganz vortrefflich herausstellte. Die Fahrradwege an dem wunderschönen Kanal und an der Vilaine entlang sind herrlich. Das Hotel liegt vieleicht 200 m von dem Kanal entfernt. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir in einem Schuppen über Nacht sicher abstellen.
