Really nice and close to the beach! Rooms were tidy and parking was easy on the street outside.
Bed was a bit hard and room was a bit small for unpacking etc.

Fantastic location close to beach, fort, cafes and a bonus with several outdoor garden areas to relax in as well as around the swimming pool complete with bar! Great buffet at breakfast for start to a hiking day! So glad I booked an extra night to enjoy the comfort of the room and hotel facilities. Well done Mareta Beach Hotel!
Can’t think of any downsides. No kettle in room but free to ask for one from reception. Deposit needed for swimming pool or beach use of towels but money refunded on return.

Location was great, right off the fisherman’s trail.
The staff was absolutely horrendous. The women (and I am a woman who always supports women) they were incredibly grumpy and smoking at the front entrance while we waited at the desk to check out. No hospitality whatsoever so ever.
