Night stay with pet dog on road trip across Europe to UK

Excellent Location for a night stop,just off the main east west motorway.All staff helpful and freindly. Excellent breakfast and several options for dinner. Free car parking on site.Grean areas near for walking dog.

Room a little dated and shower in bath, but all comfortable and clean and functional.

Need more attention to cleaning

The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The free parking lot.

The room had an unpleasant smoke smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. In addition, the reception area had a microwave where guests could heat up their meals, which created a lot of lingering food smells. Combined with the outdated condition of the facilities, the overall experience was not what I expected and did not feel like good value for money.

Excellent accommodation Gouda

The setting of Hotel Campanille, although slightly outside the main city area is in a beautiful and it was only a short trip for me on my rented bike. The accommodation with restaurant was all very nice and comfortable. The standard of food was very high and all staff were very helpful and pleasant.

At present, there are road works on the main cycling route from Amsterdam to the accommodation. This is not a criticism of the hotel but worth knowing that you should route via Gouda itself. (Small detour)

Perfectly adequate for a stayover for one night.

Easy to find and just a short drive from the city centre. Basic but reasonably comfortable rooms.

Unfortunately the road noise from he nearbu motorway was very intrusive especially as we had to have the window open due to the heat. Sadly no fan and no aircon.

I liked how the room was designed and the privacy provided. The location was a nice distance from town so it was less busy in the area where the hotel is located.

A lot of spider nets everywhere, cleaning girls let us complet opened doors to the outside during the breakfast and noone was there

In general, good.

The staff is very friendly and ready to help you. The bed in the room is comfortable. Badroom is clean and shower works perfectly. The fact that you can charge expenses on your room facilitates the reimbursement when traveling for work.

The lack of plug connections in the room which makes difficult to work on the desk with your laptop and mobile at the same time. It would be nice the cleaning service vacuum under the bed. For €14 / day, lack of food variety during breakfast. There are two coffee machines, the good one is for paid coffee and the other produces a bitter coffee dilution.

Easy access from highway, 5 min from city centre, good breakfast

If you do a late night check inn, the rooms should be clean and ready but instead we got a dirty room with dirty toilet and sheets. When we asked on reception for a clean sheets at least, we got even dirtier ones so by far the dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. Not worth for that money, only thing good was a breakfast:(

it is in a quiet area not very far from the center

House keeping was very poor they did not even straighten the sheet just pulled the blanket over the bed. when towels were given for washing they did not replace them

Pleasant

This is a typical old-style Campanile located on an industrial estate close to the motorway. Ideal for a one-night stop-over. Staff were pleasant. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and this was OK. We travelled into Gouda town by car but were told by reception that local buses were available. The cost for this overnight stay is high compared with other hotels we stayed at during our 17-day road trip through Netherlands, Germany and Poland. We did not consider it good value for money.

Breakfast was poor as there was a bus party staying and minimal staff on duty, so dishes were not replenished and tables were slow to be cleared. Rooms are basic and a bit dreary. We have stayed at the upgraded Campanile hotels which are much better value for money.

Disappointing

Location was good.

Reception staff gave the impression that she would rather not be there. We paid on arrival for stay and on leaving we paid for a dinner the previous night. After leaving they tried to call us 4 times saying we had left without paying. Cost an expensive call from Germany( on my NZ phone) to get it sorted. The 2 breakfast always had something missing. They appeared to be short of staff.

Not worth the price!

The hotel was located right next to the autobahn, so it was easy to find!

Considering the cost of the rooms, we didn't get our money's worth. Funnily, this was the most expensive room we booked on our 10-day trip and it was by far the worst. The staff at the reception were somewhat rude. We found underwear hanging on the radiator under the table. Even though we booked two rooms together (one booking code), we didn't get rooms together or even on the same floor. It was overall, just okay.

Very basic rooms, light in the bathroom didn't work well. Everyone passing thru may peek into the room and see who`s on the bed.
