Die Lage in den Ardennen, unmittelbar in Nähe der französischen Grenze, umgeben von Wäldern und dem Fluss Semois ist wirklich ausnehmend schön. Mit dem Auto ist man durch Schnellstraßen und Autobahnen relativ schnell in Frankreich oder aber auch im Großherzogtum Luxemburg. Andererseits bietet die Region für Wanderer eine große Auswahl von Wanderwegen bis hin zu Fernwanderwegen. Wer es sportlich mag, kann auf der Semois Kayaktouren unternehmen.
Die einzige Bäckerei im Ort (Corbion) hat leider an zwei Tagen in der Woche geschlossen. Dafür haben wir dann in Bouillon Brötchen oder Baguettes zum Aufbacken besorgt. Zum Frühstück mal eben nach Bouillon fahren und Brötchen holen ist doch etwas weiter (ca. 8 km).

Very nice, cosy and warm. Good location and beautiful nature around it. The host is very pleasant and helpful. Good value for money.
No sheets, dishwashing detergent,, shampoo, shower gel, coffee, towels. Even though informed in advance, I was surprised that they didn't even provide a hand towel and hand soap.

Location is really nice, nice views, very peaceful and quiet. Host was very helpful and friendly, we appreciated that. We were also allowed to use the nice garden in the area.
The roads to get there are horrible, but once you arrive, it's a really nice and quiet location! The bed was a creaking, making noise, but overall it was okay, we were very tired after the hiking and slept very well anyway.
