About this house rental
Well placed to circulate on the island to discover its riches, our house offers you conviviality, change of scenery and imagination, of which you can now capture the first sensations on our blog "dhsabourin. Blogspot. Com."
You will see there for example the unexpected "bathroom-lounge-freshness", the large well-being lounge, the kitchen-dining room equipped for convivial meals with direct access on the ground floor to the romantic terrace carefully landscaped, where invite you to the barbecue, the large dining table under the arbor, the colorful lounge and the sunbathing areas, and at night, the lights that magnify the decor to prolong the evenings under the stars. The 3 bedrooms, separated by a landing, are personalized, spacious and comfortable.
From the house, you go on foot to the center of St Georges in 5 minutes, discover its daily local market (in the halls, in front of the church, next to the tourist office).
To allow you to quickly locate yourself on the island of Oléron, we have designed a workbook at your disposal on the living room table to choose your programs according to your mood of the day and find all the addresses and useful phones . There are also selected for you the best restaurants of all categories on the island and the best traders.
From the city center, to reach the sea take the cycle path or relax at the tropical nautical center (with sauna, hammam, etc.). Other leisure activities are close to the house, such as the equestrian center, the leisure aerodrome (3 km away) and of course the discovery of the marshes and salt marshes (port du Douhet, la Brée-les-Bains).
The Ile d'Oléron (more than 20,000 inhabitants, 175 km2) with its 140 km of cycle tracks and its 90 km of east and west beaches, offers you its many faces, authentic, sincere and endearing, linked to island life, to its history, its economy, its climate, its fauna, its flora, its products from the land / sea. Maison très spacieuse avec de très grandes chambres, un salon agréable et une jolie salle de bains. La cuisine a le charme des maisons de vacances mais demanderait à être un peu réaménagée. Néanmoins elle est très bien équipée et nous n'avons manqué de rien.
La maison est très bien décorée ce qui lui donne beaucoup de charme.
Juste un petit regret quant à la la surface de la terrasse que nous pensions un peu plus grande. Un peu juste à 6 ou 7 mais suffisante pour manger ensemble. Au final nous y avons passé peu de temps puisque nous étions le plus souvent en extérieur et souvent à vélo ! Cela nous a ainsi incités à sortir !
Concernant la propreté de la maison à notre arrivée, je tiens à justifier les 3 étoiles par le fait que la femme de ménage n'était pas passée avant notre arrivée ce qui n'était pas prévu. Mais la propriétaire n'est pas en cause puisque la personne qui devait faire le ménage ne l'a pas prévenue.
Sinon les relations avec Danièle se sont très bien passées avant, pendant et après notre séjour. Elle a pris beaucoup de temps pour nous expliquer ce qu'il fallait voir et visiter sur Oléron avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Encore un grand merci !

Un très bon séjour dans une maison pleine de charme. Les pièces de la maison sont grandes et très agréables. Tous les repas et apéros se sont déroulés sur la mignonne terrasse fleurie devant la maison.
La maison est bien équipée. Et le marché et les commerces de St Georges répondent à tous les besoins.

Séjour en famille très agréable dans cette maison pleine de charme. Le soleil nous ayant accompagné tout au long de cette semaine nous avons pu profiter de l'agréable petite terrasse pour nos déjeuners.
Points appréciables , maison située en plein bourg où il y a un boulanger, petite supérette bien achalandée ,un point presse, petit office de tourisme pour préparer les sorties,restaurants ainsi qu'un distributeur bancaire.
Pour conclure, nous aurions bien tous voulus prolonger ce séjour.
Merci à Mme Sabourin pour tous les gentils conseils prodigués pour que nous passions le meilleur séjour possible.
Je recommande pleinement!!
