Vivian Apartments

The apartment is really nice and with a sea view. So quiet in the night and all you can hear are the waves. It’s surrounded by trees and plants so it really makes you feel like you’re in nature. It’s a remote area but with restaurants and cafes from a walking distance. We had a wonderful time here and really recommend specially for families. Vivian, her sister and mom would come around sometimes to check if everything was ok and they are so lovely and attentive. We had a lovely lady cleaning our room every 2 days which was a nice addition to it. They had left some snacks for us like toasts, fruits, eggs and feta - so we had our first breakfast in the apartment which we didn’t even plan and it was so nice.

It's a shame the booking.com ratings stop at 10. This is definitely an 11 sort of place. We were met after a delayed flight from the UK by the wonderful owner of the property . She had left enough things in the fridge to enable us to have a meal as all the restaurants had closed. The room was spotlessly clean, a member of staff came in every day apart from Sunday and Wednesday to clean. The swimming pool and surrounding gardens were immaculately kept. Our stay was punctuated by many acts of kindness from Elena and her family. The location of the apartment is in a quiet part of Lourdata, a short walk up the hill to a bar and a supermarket and a short walk along the seafront to a range of bars. Lots of parking on site with the usual Kafalonian care needed to manage the gradients. Many thanks, we will definitely return.

הגענו באמצע הלילה. אמה של הבעלים הדליקה מראש את המזגן בחדרנו כדי שיהיה לנו צונן ונעים לכשנגיע. בבוקר היא קיבלה את פנינו בצורה אדיבה מאוד וזה היה נעים. הנוף מהחדר היה וואו. ממש על הים. החוף הסמוך למלון היה חוף חולי, שקט ונעים. כיף לבילוי החדר היה מרווח- מורכב משני חדרים מחוברים והיו שני חדרי שירותים ומקלחת. כשהגענו חיכתה לנו סלסלה עם כיבוד וחטיפים מותאמים לילדים שלנו.

החדר משופץ בחלקו, אך כל מה שלא שופץ מרגיש מיושן מאוד. בחדר השינה לא היה תריס על החלונות ולא היה ניתן להחשיך את החדר ברגע שיש שמש בחוץ.

Quiet location, easy walking distance to a few tavernas/bars. Hosts extremely helpful & friendly. Daily cleaning of apartment. Towels & bedding changed frequently.

Apartment tended to be hot & stuffy & it’s facilities old & of poor quality, needs updating. Very hard mattresses made sleeping difficult.
