The hosts were charming and very, very helpful. The on-site facilities are excellent.
It's a shame the village of Assas hasn't got a restaurant of the same quality of the La Belle Vigne at Valfaunes...a 20 minute drive away, which was recommended to us by the hosts. It too was excellent.

The spa was definitely an asset. Also swimming pool looks nice but weather was too cold to experience the pool.
Friendly and good helping hosts who live also on the property.
Location is close to all facilities/tourist spots with car.
Flats are basic level. +/- ok for the price. But don't expect extra's like panoramic view/setting, stylish/authentic house or lovely garden.
3 flats share outdoor facilities; as we were alone no problem. But if all gites are fully occupied then less privacy and maybe crowdy.
