The location is amazing, so picturesque. Lots of dog walks and places to visit. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was of good quality. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need.
When we arrived, the garden furniture was all over the garden. The parasol, table, and one of the chairs were blocking the entrance to the rear garden. There had been a storm 2 days before, so this should have been checked.
From when we arrived, till the next morning, the toilet cistern water was yellow and smelled of sewage. This was very off-putting as it's beside the kitchen.
The access to the bedroom is via a ladder. It is not a set of stairs. This can be very challenging, especially if you need the toilet in the night. We had to leave a light on to avoid any accidents.

The location was just what we needed - quiet and secluded. We loved the quirky layout with the ladder type stairs to the bedroom, which was cosy and comfortable. Sitting in the living room and looking out over the countryside was a joy.
There is a local pub/restaurant 10 minutes walk away and the busy town of Ross-on-Wye is either an hour's walk or a 10 minute bus ride - with a bus stop a minute's walk from The Granary. (Even though there's only a bus stop on one side of the road, buses going both ways stop there!)
Nothing!

Compact but Cosy. The property was nice to stay in.
The host sent us “what4words” to find its location. This was required! But even following these it was fully clear where the accommodation was. A simple sign on the main house saying “the Granary” would solve this.

Location fine.
The biggest problem was the stairs in the cottage.

The stairs were steep, but we were warned about this. Wouldn’t stop us from going again

Very comfortable property with pleasant views over farmland. Private patio and garden area. Liked the quirky renovation with raised sleeping area. Good dog walking area and close to main road so easy access to local attractions. Perfect for our needs.

Great home away from home. Brilliant for walks and everything is only a 10 minutes drive away.
We walked over 10 miles a day and our dog loved it. Such a beautiful part of the country.

Fantastic quiet position ideal for walking in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Cottage had well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, cosy upstairs bedroom accessed by steep ladder and super little garden with patio. Easy on site parking.
Bathroom a bit cold though it was January!

great location, spacious and very clean accommodation, comfortable size settee. beautiful view and perfect outside area for our dog. washing machine very handy. easy access to Wye Valley footpath.
garden area could have been fenced off more securely for our dog. we got used to the ladder to bedroom but it would be unsuitable for some.

Location was perfect for what I needed - the ideal property to really get away from the city. The property is well appointed with everything you'd expect to have at home.
I can't think of anything I didn't like during my stay.
