The bed was very comfortable.
There is plenty of space in both the bedroom and lounge.
The sky package is a nice extra.
The peace and quiet is relaxing
Unfortunately the house was incredibly cold when we arrived. So maybe turn the heating on in advance at this time of year.
Very cozy once it warmed up.

Quiet, lovely views, really remote, and quirky
Plates, dishes, glasses etc.. had been put in cupboards dirty. Not a nice start to the break.

Excellent location as it was near to family.
Cottage was excellent with a comfy bed and modern decor.
Shower facilities were very good
Kitchen facilities were good
Lounge very comfortable seating
Lounge flooring could be improved as some of the parquet flooring was loose, dining table requires tightening as it was wobbly. A washing machine would be a plus if it were family or longer stay.

Very cosy cottage with tasteful décor and good facilities. Quiet and safe location with lots of outdoor space for you to enjoy. Visited during cold weather but the cottage was very warm, beds and bedding were perfect and everything was very clean.
Some of the spaces are little tight, but that's part of the character of the property and it didn't bother us too much.

Lots of kitchen equipment, clean sheets,
The garden needs updating, the cleaner needs to do her job, the toaster had never been emptied, the fire place was full, there was a nasty smell in the kitchen, after investigating we found a bowl of brown stagnant water that have never been emptied for months.the garden furniture was rusty and damaged, no instructions on which bins to use or when the recycling needed to be put out for collection. The whole cottage needs a upgrading its tired.

Travelling back in time. Unspoilt in its truest sense.

Quiet location, apart from the odd peacock. My wife was especially enamoured with the cows in the field.
Comfy beds. If the weather had been a bit warmer it would have been lovely to sit outside.
Distance from Pwllheli somewhat further than I had expected, country lane driving is always a bit tricky.

The cottage had lots of character and was warm and comfortable. It was mostly very well equipped. The wiring had been updated and there were plenty of sockets. The shower was great. Everywhere was very clean. I loved the little snug up the spiral staircase too - an escape from the football! The location was lovely also but just too far from civilisation.
It was too remote. When we first booked, the location was given as Chwilog which is about 5 miles away. Access was down miles of very narrow winding roads. I loved the cottage but would have appreciated a washing machine! The kitchen was large enough to house one. We didn't use the upstairs bedroom as my husband couldn't have managed the ladder and I think there would have been some sore heads too!

Very quiet and remote. You need a sat nav to find your way around though!
Beautiful countryside close to pristine beaches and mountains
There is NOT a bath as listed! Very dissapointed to discover this when I arrived. I sent the owner a text and have not had any response! I have also messaged Sykes cottages who haven't replied either!...it really is all about the money!!
There is NO welcome pack eg milk at all..so you should have take absolutely everything you need! Most self catering have a small welcome hamper/basket but not here!
I stayed here on my own it would be cramped for 4 people the shower room is very small and only 1 toilet.
