Best holiday home we’ve ever rented

Had absolutely everything you needed! Lovely cottage, very clean, best stocked holiday home we’ve ever stayed in. Even we’re met with fresh scones and homemade jam. So quiet, had great nights sleep.

A very enjoyable family break in lovely cottage, close to a number of interesting places to visit.

Lovely location in a very clean and comfortable cottage and remained warm on a frosty night. The cottage was very well equiped and the tourist information book was the most well organised and comprehensive we have experienced.

Needed to be careful on the old stone stairs.

Location was high up on hill, perfect for those seeking great views, walks and sanctuary. Perfect location for Skipton, Howarth and Hebden Bridge.

Fabulous cottage which we’d have no hesitation in recommending

Beautiful rural location with wonderful views down the valley. The cottage is very well appointed and sleeps five comfortably. Lots of opportunities for walking direct from the cottage. Very friendly and helpful hosts who made sure the trip went well.

The friendliest of hosts, superb views and everything you could possibly need provided.

We fully appeciated the thoughtful provisioning of handsoap, extra toilet paper, packets of paper tissues , fresh milk - and home made scones and jam. We have never stayed where so many cooking utensils were available, and I didn't need my sharp paring kife or y-potato-peeler! Other age groups would really appreciate the selection of child-friendly games. The information about local places to visit was exceptional and easy to follow.

Unfortunately two of our family suffer from arthritis and the steep staircase was a struggle - but there was a warning in the literature. We should perhaps have expected the one-way approach road, with no obvious passing places, but it was an exceptionally long stretch of road on which you didn't want to meet other traffic! Local taxi-drivers didn't seem to know how to find the property unaided, despite being given sat-nav info.

Absolutely beautiful cottage ,gorgeous location for getting away from it all but loads to do nearby

We loved everything about the cottage. It was spotlessly clean, warm, welcoming and super comfortable. Everything you could need was provided and the bottle of wine as a welcome was a lovely touch. Lots of grouse, rabbits, sheep & cows to keep you company!

There was nothing negative to comment on- everything excellent. A useful tip is to check that the local taxi company knows where the cottage is if you book a cab. Our driver said he did but couldn't find us and its a very long pitch black lane to walk down to get to the village.
