Wonderful, welcoming can’t wait to do it again

The property was first class. It just felt like the place you would want to relax in. Wide open planned. Plenty of cooking utensils to make a lovely dinner. Lovely comfy beds in both rooms. The bathroom has a large bath for a good old soak. I would love it as my home

Superb property, quiet location, easy drive to York and North. We love this property as it had everything. Lots of little extras. Omg the couch is amazing, the room sizes are huge, the bathroom is huge.

York water supply wasn't that pleasant. Maybe take some bottled water.

What a wonderful stay, I couldn't recommend staying here highly enough. A warm and friendly welcome (with a chocolate cake!) and helpful - excellent communication. The cleanliness was absolutely fantastic, spotless - I don't think I've ever stayed in such clean accommodation. Excellent value for money, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Thank you for a great few days.

Only a very minor point - no coasters or trays for when we were making cups of tea for the group, but really only the most very minor of niggles!

The property is situated out in the sticks but close to essential shops which I like , the quietness of an evening was bliss not having kids screaming or playing outside was a highlight the lemon drizzle was to die for 😋

Christmas visit to York with my daughter

It was lovely to arrive after a long drive to a warm and inviting cottage. The location was perfect for shopping in York and the nearby Design Outlet, but far enough out of the busyness. Upon arrival there were mince pies, teabags and a Christmas tree with lights, we even had Netflix to watch a movie in the evening.Very comfortable, very warm and very clean. We didn’t need anything but there were lovely people around if we did. Would definitely stay there again. It was a lovely stay.

Très cosy

Emplacement très calme, en pleine campagne à 15 minutes du centre de York. Gite très confortable, très bien chauffé et équipé. Très bons contacts avec les propriétaires, très réactifs en cas de questions. Décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Très agréable de trouver un "kit de survie" : thé, lait et délicieux biscuits.

Rien. Pour avoir la note de 11, il ne manquait qu'une patère derrière la porte de la salle de bains et une cloche pour couvrir les plats dans le micro-ondes 😀 !
