Beautiful location!

Great property perfect size beautifully clean on arrival and no issues with getting in slightly earlier than planned! Kids loved the location on the farm and the owners were so kind noticed their interest and spoke to them about the cows, horses and showed them the tractor!

Overpriced

Spacious. Lovely views and the kitchen was well equipped. Bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch.

In a noisy courtyard with other properties. We were woken at 6am by people in the next door property who were very inconsiderate. Unsafe and not fitted correctly bare lightbulb with no shade hanging next to the children’s top bunk. We removed this as our daughter could have been electrocuted as she went up the ladder, or a fire sparked by the incorrect fitting. Dirty shower heads in the bathroom. I only showered once during our two day stay as I did not want to shower again. No batteries in the tv remote. Not a single tea bag / coffee/ sugar was in the kitchen for guests. Overpriced. Would not visit again.

A little crowded with other properties adjacent, this was not made very clear when browsing and booking. Finish of the bathroom was in need of light maintenance ( sealant etc. ) Can easily hear the neighbours, which was mildly irritating.

I can’t wait to book again!!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, and such a welcoming with a bottle of wine and Welsh cakes. No hassle on arrival, and it was so clean and well equipped! Ample parking (we had to take 2 cars)! And the views - wow! Much bigger than we expected too! Also we didn’t see much of the staff (mainly because we didn’t need to), but we did get a knock on the door and handed some fresh eggs which was lovely!!

I liked everything about our stay, but if there was anything was it was a little ‘in the middle of nowhere’ however that’s what we wanted and literally not even 2miles from Beaumaris!

We had a lovely few days in Anglesey.

A lovely place to stay with wine and Welsh cakes to enjoy on our arrival. Very clean and comfortable.

These are just small points. Microwave was overly complicated. No bottle opener. Frying pan needs replacing as the handle was falling off.

Such a beautiful property, with everything you could need for your stay. Every kitchen utensil and pot and pan you could need, endless dvds and board games etc for rainy days, a log burner, underfloor heating, the deepest and longest bath I’ve come across in a rental and just so peaceful. This was our first time visiting Anglesey and I don’t think we could have picked a more perfect place to stay. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating. And the views! Overall a stunning stay.

The only thing I didn’t like was the pillows on the bed, as they were a little hard for me and caused a stiff neck, but this is a personal preference and not something that would prevent me from returning.

Beautiful location and gorgeous accommodation

Great location, peaceful with fabulous views over the menai strait. Well equipped with comfy bed and beautiful bathrooms. Used the woodburner every night as was lovely and cosy. Really lovely place and super helpful owner.

Think a blind opposite the bathroom might be helpful and a towel rail in the downstairs bathroom. No stool to sit on to do makeup at dressing table either. Add these extras in and it's faultless!

A luxury place to stay in magnificent surroundings

Hen Stabl was large, spacious and modern with everything you could want for a short and long stay. Beautiful views overlooking the Menai Straits and great walks nearby.

The only niggle was finding it as no sign on the road and was opposite to where Booking.com map had it displayed. But again, it is a beautiful place and couldn’t fault it at all.

Highest recommendation I can give Hen Stabl is that we'd go back there again in a jot!

Modern lounge and kitchen and the bathrooms were well equipped. Nice touch of Welsh cakes there for us on arrival. Fabulous location. Nice and warm cottage with a lovely wood burner.

Upstairs toilet seat was very uncomfortable! Beds weren't the best I've ever slept in. Could have done with another frying pan for breakfasts.

i was visiting family at the Haulfre care home and it was extremely convenient

the property was beautiful, very clean and had everything I needed. The hosts were so friendly and helpful to my jetlagged self. The bed was extremely comfortable and the property was quiet and felt vey safe for a single female. I enjoyed my stay so much that I tried to extend it but it was already booked

Weekend away

The cottage was beautiful, we could see the sea from the front room. And it was so peaceful. And everyone was so friendly

Crap venue to deal with in a crisis!!

Absolutely nothing to like here! Son was taken seriously ill and rushed to Hospital, so we were unable to take this holiday. Lost £627 as a result!

The fact there was no compassion on the owners part. I pleaded for some sort of refund, considering the harsh financial times we are currently going through. Nothing doing there!! Last time I will be looking for a holiday with Sykes Cottages or Booking.com if this is the sort of people they advertise!!

Really comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

very clean and spacious. Extremely well equipped kitchen with high quality fixtures and fittings. very comfy beds. Perfect location just far enough outside Beaumaris to feel really peaceful but with easy access to the town just a short drive away. Lovely bathrooms with great powerful showers! Owners very helpful and accommodating.

Size, view, friendly owners.

DrCold evenings in lounge but too warm downstairs bedroom due to wrong temp settings, especially for the high ceiling lounge, 20deg set not enough and no adjustment available. No available hair dryer. Room temp main thing otherwise excellent.

one very small detail, they could do with a blind in the window at the bottom of the stairs, no privacy going in and out of bathroom.
