Tanera More was built as a fishermans cottage about 200 years ago and retains many original features. The situation on the shore of the Moray Firth makes it a delightful place to spend time simply admiring the views and the changing light over the sea. Great location for many outdoor activities. Walking, Cycling, Sailing, Birdwatching, Golf and horse riding can all be enjoyed locally. There are some excellent local museums for rainy days and good restaurants to be found in Fortrose, Munlochy and Cromarty. The highland capital of Inverness is only 10 miles away and boat cruises on Loch Ness are always popular. Ancient Pictish remains dot the landscape in this area which is mainly agricultural. It is a perfect gate way to the west coast for a day out to the Isle of Skye and the beauty of the more rugged west coast.

First of all this property is an absolute gem! It is extremely well kept and clean. It is actually better than in the pictures, they do not do it justice. Suzana is a great host very friendly and gives you a very thorough introduction to the property and how everything works. I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend a visit, the location is idyllic! Again a highly recommended property!
