We came here for work but had a very nice time in La Grave. The flat is perfectly located, with a farm nearby that you can visit and where you can buy delicious goat cheese.

Nice and cosy flat. Just a short walk to the center of La Grave and 2 minutes more to reach the lift. 3 bedrooms, a well equipted kitchen (just bring a sharp knife if you really want to cook) and a good hot shower make life pretty good there.

We enjoyed everything in the apartment. Sometimes it's not easy to find a parking space in the evening, but we found one on each day. The only thing which was not working was the internet. The connection was extremely slow and broke down very often, such that we had to use mobile phone internet. In the online description it is described as "WiFi" but after booking you receive an information that the WiFi can only be used by one person for a limited time. However, due to limited speed, even this wasn't possible in a reasonable way for most of the time.

Prima verblijf voor in de winter als uitvalsbasis voor de skigebieden in het dal. Zeer rustieke woning, goed uitgeruste keuken, open haard (zelf hout regelen), kelder met skischoen droogrek; wel met krakende/piepende vloeren en zeer gehorig. Goed contact met eigenaar via email en sms. Hoewel er 9 slaapplaatsen zijn, wordt het aan max 5 volwassenen verhuurd vanwege de capaciteit van de boiler. Door het smalle dal is er maar kort zon in de winter.

Le gîte correspond au descriptif de l’annonce. Il est situé dans un endroit très calme en haut du village avec un accès à pied à tous les commerces. Madame PAILLAS est une personne adorable et son accueil est le meilleur qui soit. Le seul petit problème est le débit de la connexion internet qui n’est pas à la hauteur de ce qui est annoncé mais cela semble être un problème général sur la Grave. La vue du balcon ou de la chambre principale sur le massif de la Meije est magnifique. A recommander.

Maison relativement spacieuse et bien équipée. Manque d'insonorisation entre le séjour et les chambres. Maison qui a du charme avec beaucoup de bois et décoration avec peaux de bêtes. Possibilité d'utiliser un lave-linge en-dessous de la maison, pratique pour famille avec enfants. Superbe vue sur les montagnes depuis la chambre parentale. Beaucoup de couchages disponibles (8) plus possibilité d'avoir un lit bébé. Située sur les hauteurs du village et accès possible à pied à tous les commerces (5 min). Le village de La Grave dispose de plusieurs restaurants succulents, de magasins de proximité, d'une poste, un médecin mais pas de pharmacie (médicaments disponibles chez le médecin). Plusieurs départs de promenades depuis le village vers Villard d'Arêne, Les Freaux ou Les Terrasses

Petite maison sympa sur les hauteurs de La Grave, ce qui donne l'énorme avantage d'être loin du bruit de la départementale (en plus de faire travailler les mollets!). 3 chambres, jusqu'à 8 couchages (on était 4, c'est assez spacieux jusqu'à 6 personnes). La propriétaire vit à côté et est charmante. Il y a une chèvrerie à 50m, pour du bon fromage frais. Bref, à recommander.

Le Peyrou is located right in the heart of La Grave old village, a 2 minute walk to the shops/bars and 5 minute walk to the Telepherique. A perfect location for our holiday. The house has three really good sized bedrooms and most importantly is well heated throughout (something I have struggled with in the past in La Grave!). There is also a beautiful fire place, kitchen with everything that we needed and god sized lounge/dining area which was great for having friends around for dinner. Deborah and her mother in law also looked after us so well. We had lots of contact with Deborah to ensure we were prepared for the stay (even sorting out linen for us 2 days before the trip when we forgot ours!). During the stay Deborah's mother in law did everything to make us feel welcome and ensure we had what we needed. A fantastic holiday in a great house and magical village! Thank you! Paul

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement dans une maison individuelle de village. Les pièces sont grandes, chaleureuses et bien équipées, la literie est confortable. A noter des escaliers pour accéder à l''appartement (et aux chambres car duplex). La vue est magnifique depuis le salon et une chambre,sur la Meije. La propriétaire est très disponible et sympathique avec les grands et les petits. Prévoir d''emmener quelques provisions car il y a peu d''épiceries dans le village, (et assez chères)... Nous gardons l''adresse pour une prochaine fois !"
