Apartment in Lloret de Mar

Séjour agréable. Nous avons apprécié : grand appartement duplex situé au 1er étage avec accès à un jardin privatif sans vis à vis, en plein centre-ville à 800 mètres de la plage à pied et à proximité des commerces. La propriétaire parle français, est gentille et réactive. Nous regrettons : pas de parking (il faudra compter en moyenne 90€ par semaine pour un parc de stationnement), des sanitaires vétustes, pas de ventilateurs, un Wifi rarement accessible et pas de barrière de sécurité pour les enfants en bas age pour le jardin.

Très bon séjour passé à Lloret. 5 min de la plage et des commodités. Isabel est très gentille et accueillante, l'appartement est spacieux et propre en général (la vaisselle était un peu sale, et de la poussière dans les coins, ce qui rends un peu cher les 150e de frais de ménage néanmoins). L'appartement est assez grand pour 7, le jardin est à notre entière disposition (une table un peu plus grande serait un plus). Appartement peu isolé à côté d un hôtel bruyant, mais pas de bruits la nuit. La caution a été remboursée sans soucis. Bémol : pas de place de parking privée et pas de place dans les rues alentours, nous étions garées dans un parking gratuit à plus de 5 min de marche de l'appartement.

The apartment was large and very central - 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops. Isabel is very friendly and helpful, once you actually get into the building which was a bit of an issue as all the intercom doorbells have been disabled, so we had to call her mobile to let her know we had arrived. Therefore, it's absolutely necessary to make sure you have that number with you!! The apartment is up two flights of stairs which, again, was a bit of a problem for us as we had an elderly (quite heavy) dog with us who can't climb stairs so needed to be carried up every time we took her for a walk. Isabel had told us there was a garden for the dog, so we had wrongly assumed that the apartment was on the ground floor. It would have been nice to have this information prior to booking because it did cause some difficulties, particularly since the steps down to the very pretty, but astro-turfed garden were fire escape type which I think any dog would have balked at going down. However, there was a very nice park only about 3 or 4 minutes walk away so we were able to use that. On the whole, the apartment would have been great if we had not had the dog with us. It was spacious, central and very quiet. We loved Lloret at Christmas-time - the weather was perfect, there were shops and restaurants open although it was not busy, and the people were lovely. Perhaps there should be a lot more detailed information available on the website?
