Apartment/ flat - Monte Gordo

I originally was drawn to this property because of the very clean appearance , location and the cost... monthly discount of 25Euros a night could not be passed up. The apartment was well appointed and originally was to be for 4 people using the sleep couches. I didn't ask and it turned out the apartment was on the 3rd floor and since this was the first time traveling since becoming disabled I will learn to ask that first in the future. That aside upon arriving now with 5 people we realized we would need more room so inquired of our host about the possibility of another unit being available. Since it was off season (April) the hosts - Armando and his lovely Mama were able to sort us out with a ground floor apartment with a larger layout for a reasonable rate The area of Monte Gordo was great and certainly not crowded this time of year. Day trips to Vila Real Santa Antonio and crossing over to Spain for breakfast were an easy shot from our location. Can't recommend it more! Obrigado!!!

It's been an excellent stay, the location is great and quiet with plenty of services (markets, restaurants, cafes) in the surroundings. Distance to the beach is just a few minutes by walk. I like the house, the tidiness was impeccable, all the necessary amenities and utensils were available, and plenty of space. The owner is friendly and carried out everthing in the best possible way, with kindness and prompt response to any requests.
