Saltasia Boutique Beach Villa

My partner and I stayed at Saltasia for two nights in August 2026. The hotel was one of the highlights of 9-day trip to Sri Lanka. It was a dream. We could not get enough of the infinity pool, which was impeccably clean (in large part due to the regular efforts of one of the staff) and looked out onto the ocean. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with the bed facing the water but the room still affording privacy. The bathroom was also inside/outside and lovely. The breakfasts were outstanding. They included homemade butter cake. Sadhuni at reception was incredibly warm and helpful (e.g. she made me a time sensitive appointment at a local salon to help get dressed for a wedding!). It was very hard to leave (we almost changed our trip to try to get a couple extra nights there) and we really hope to return in the future!

It's a perfect, dreamy spot. It's a little away from the main beaches of mirissa, but for us this wasn't a problem at all. Tuks are easy to get.

A beautiful restored colonial boutique villa. Consists of 4 rooms, so the place feels very intimate and private even with other guests checked in. It has a relaxed vibe in a quiet part of the beach. Alex, the villa master, was attentive and very welcoming. The food was exquisite and diverse dependent on your tastes.
