Egervári Várkastély

Fantasztikus élmény volt. Éjszaka bejártuk a várat,nappal bújocskáztunk. Felejthetetlen élmény lett. Még sokszor fogunk itt megszállni. Nem mindennapi élmény egy várban személyzet nélkül tölteni az éjszakát. Izgalmas,varázslatos,csodálatos Mindenki nagyon élvezte,a gyerekek is ,a kutyák is. A kutyákért nem számoltak fel extra díjat

Minden szuper volt

Wow, what a fabulous stay. We were the only people in the entire castle for the night. It was truly a treat. The room was huge, comfy bed. Danny was so kind he picked up some fruit and veggies for us to have We will remember our stay there forever. Thank you, Danny. You made our stay fabulous.

Most hotels try to add some extra features to seem unique. Well, this place is totally exceptional! The castle is very impressive, not particularly large but it has all the features you would expect from a castle. The rooms are huge and some are partly in the corner bastions. We found it very interesting that each room is decorated in a different historic style from the past of the castle with matching colours and furniture. We visited the castle during a less busy period and were lucky to have the entire castle for ourselves. This was a short but very memorable stay.

The rooms may be historically accurate but some of the colours are too vivid. Again, this may be historically accurate but there were very few electric sockets and no reading lamps (no torches were given either!).

It was a unique opportunity to enjoy the whole castle just for us. It was a great fun for all the family. I would say though that for a solo traveler it might be a bit scary ;).

Just a detail - the breakfast was very good , it just seemed that the bread and buns were not fresh .. maybe the bakery is far away?
