Clean, comfortable house in quiet setting.

An enjoyable stay in Equemauville, just above Honfleur. The house is clean and comfortable and is well equipped. It is pleasant to sit in the garden, which is also suitable for young children. The beds are also comfortable and we both slept well. There is always plenty of hot water and the shower is very efficient. The washing-machine was easy to use and there is a good drying line in the garden. There is an excellent restaurant almost opposite the house and there is a good supermarket, with fuel also, a short distance away. It is a short drive downhill to Honfleur with its many restaurants, shops and places of interest. It is cheaper to park your car in the all-day car-park on the way in to Honfleur from the motorway. It is just a short walk over the bridge into the old town. There are many interesting places to visit in this delightful region. We went to Etretat on M Morel's advice and were not disappointed! M Morel, the owner, is very friendly, helpful and responds quickly to any problem. We would have liked more lamps in the living area and also a reading lamp and chair in the second bedroom. There is comfortable seating for three in the living area, so 4 or more would need to sit on the dining chairs, which are not uncomfortable. The 500 euro deposit seemed excessive, but that may be because of past problems. We can recommend this accommodation for couples or for families.

The house is very good equipped. Complete kitchen, good beds and bathroom, cosy sittingroom, nice garden with ability to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the garden table. Very nice touristic region to stay with Honfleur, Deauville, Blonville-sur-Mer, Le Havre and Rouen nearby. Friendly owner of the house lives next-to-the-house. We really recommand this house, in which we stayed as family (4), to other guests! ONNO VAN DER KUIP (The Netherlands)

La maison est très bien située proche d'honfleur. A l'intérieur tout est bien, que ce soit le confort des lits, la propreté, l'espace et la décoration. Si vous voulez passer un séjour à la mer, la maison est idéale même avec deux enfants en bas âge ( possibilité d'avoir un lit parapluie et une chaise haute sur demande)

Sauberkeit: Wenn man in ein Haus eintritt sieht man nicht alles sofort. Aber dann. Gleich hinter der Eingangstür und etwas oberhalb vor dem Wohnzimmer der Fußboden schmutzig. Der Test mit einem Stück feuchten Papier von der Küchenrolle hat gezeigt mit etwas geeigneten Putzmittel bekommt man den Fußboden sauber. Die Küchenschränke, die Arbeitsplatte und Dunstabzugshaube sowie dessen Überbau sollten unbedingt mal gereinigt werden. Wir waren 2 Paare aber ich muss Euch sagen wir haben uns auf ein Minimum eingeschränkt. Etliches Geschirr sowie Gläser waren nicht sauber so das wir uns das Geschirr genommen haben welches wir in dieser Zeit wirklich brauchen und dann abgewaschen. Auf der einen Seite die Arbeitsplatte ebenso gesäubert ein Tuch hingelegt und für die ganze Zeit das saubere Geschirr dort abgestellt. Dann hieß es schneide mal bitte Brot ab, ok keine Frage mach ich. Auf Grund dessen Brotmesser abgewaschen. Brett gesucht zum schneiden. Brett lag neben dem Kochfeld doch es wollte es gar nicht sich aufnehmen lassen. Es war etwas festgeklebt auf der dortigen Arbeitsplatte. Aber dann, dann kam mir ein übler Geruch von dem Brett entgegen so das mir bald schlecht wurde und es sofort ins Freie befördert habe. Das war die Küche, nun zum Wohnzimmer. Wir werden die knarrenden Dielen bzw. es waren keine Dielen sondern Parkett. Aber Parkett in einem Zustand welches wir noch nicht gesehen haben. Sehr ramponiert und als Pflege gab es wohl nur Wasser. Selbst ein Meisterdieb hätte schweben müssen. Auf dem Foto wird ein dunkles Sofa gezeigt, wahrscheinlich da wir 2 Paare waren wurde von irgendwo ein desolates 2. Sofa gestellt und die Sitzfläche mit einer Decke abgedeckt. Unter der Decke entdeckten wir dann das die Sitzfläche vollkommen aufgerissen war und uns die Polsterung entgegen lachte. Wow! Die Bestuhlung und Tisch waren in Ordnung. Dann standen im Zimmer eine Vitrine u. ein Sideboard aus welchem Jahrhundert vermag ich nicht zu sagen. Ist ja auch nicht das Problem wenn diese anständig hergerichtet sind und uns nicht riesen Wasserflecke usw. entgegen sehen. Der kleine Balkon ist auf der Seite zur Hauptstr. nach Honfleur für eine Verkehrszählung gut geeignet. Die hinter dem Haus führende Straße 30 Zone, mit 2 Personen im Auto wird dann auch 60 gefahren also mit einem Auto das Grundstück zu verlassen ist schon gefährlich. Einer von uns stand auf der Straße und hat auf den Verkehr geachtet. Auf dem Flur oder sonstiges keine Garderobe. Bad war in Ordnung

Das Haus ist sehr gut situiert. Die Stadt Honfleur ist in ein Paar Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Ein Supermarket kann auch problemlos zu Fuß erreicht werden. Wir haben die Zeit in der Normandie sehr genossen. Der Vermieter war sehr gut zu erreichen, der Kontakt war sehr nett. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder!

Logement très bien situé, agréable et fonctionnel.Vous pouvez rayonner dans le département du Calvados pour vos visites. Nous avons largement profité de l espace repas extérieur. Cette maison des années 70 a été restaurée efficacement. Propre et fonctionnelle je recommande cette location. De woning is ruim genoeg voor 4 personen. De woning staat aan een doorgaande weg, maar daar heb je 's avonds en 's nachts geen last van. Er is dan weinig verkeer en de woning heeft rolluiken aan de buitenkant. De tuin aan de andere kant van de woning is rustig en heerlijk om te vertoeven. Tuinmeubilair is ruim voorhanden. De grote keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien, servies is meer dan voldoende aanwezig, prima oven etc.. De woonkamer is voller dan op de foto's en heeft een grappig balkon dat als een serre kan worden afgesloten. De slaapkamers en bedden zijn goed. Het warm water van de douche is wel te heet en kan een probleem zijn bij het gebruik van het toilet. Verder een prima badkamer. Zelfs bij warm weer, blijft de woning koel door de rolluiken aan de buitenkant. Wifi is niet optimaal maar doet het wel. Auto en fietsen kunnen op eigen terrein geparkeerd worden. De eigenaar woont er naast. Grote supermarkt op loopafstand.

Met 45 minuten ben je lopend in Honfleur via Mont-Joli, geen gezeur met parkeren en er is zo veel te zien . Dat kan vanuit deze schone ruime woning . De eigenaar die er naast woont is zeer behulpzaam en attent. Met de auto kun je diverse uitstapjes maken in het mooie Normandie.

Wir haben mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern eine schöne Woche in Cyrils Haus verbracht. Das Haus wurde erst vor kurzem geschmackvoll und mit viel Einsatz des Besitzers renoviert. Die Ausstattung ließ eigentlich keine Wünsche offen. Das Haus liegt nah bei Honfleur und ca. 5 Autominuten vom Strand entfernt. Die anreinende Landstraße wird nachts kaum befahren; die Fenster sind gut isoliert, so dass uns dieser Aspekt überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage haben wir schöne Ausflüge an die Cote Fleurie, an die Cote d´Albatre und das Pays d´Auge unternommen. Nette und zeitnahe Kommunikation mit Cyril. Wir können diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons effectué un séjour de 11 jours dans cette maison au décor sobre, et néanmoins agréable et très bien équipée, conforme à la description annoncée. Parking aisé pour 2 à 3 véhicules. La situation de la maison, juste à l’entrée d’Equemauville, offre un accès rapide vers le centre de Honfleur (2,5 km par la route D579) et vers les routes conduisant aux villes et sites à visiter dans la région. Supermarché tout proche (< 500 m). Accueil attentionné par Mr Morel, avec œufs de Pâques et bouteille de cidre local, propriétaire-voisin à la fois discret et attentif envers ses locataires en cas de besoin. Malgré la fraîcheur du début de printemps, nous avons profité au mieux de notre séjour et de la région. Location à recommander aux personnes qui ne tiennent pas à tout prix à séjourner dans le centre de Honfleur, où le stationnement est quasiment partout payant, et pas garanti à proximité immédiate du logement !
