Good location

Location is great, right on the other side of a small beach and main area of Kollmar. However, please come with a private car. Shower was lovely, house is in new conditions and clean. Coffee and teas are available.

Even though there are many pictures of the apartment available, this still does not excuse the safety issue of the staircase to the upper bedroom. The missing rails makes it very dangerous to use, especially when coming down at night if you need to use the bathroom. The wooden planks are slippery, and could be at least covered with some anti-slip material. And as many people mentioned in other reviews, the 300€ "Kaution" to be given in cash and to be returned via bank transfer days later is not too convenient. Better would be for the cash to be returned directly at check-out, once the contracts have been signed. If you plan to do any cooking, there are no standard kitchen food supplies (no olive oil, no vinegar, spices...), only salt and pepper. Good thing we brought some with us...
