The Beach House occupies a fantastic seafront position on Harbour Road in Beadnell, with wonderful uninterrupted views across the North Sea. If you're looking for a comfortable coastal escape in one of Northumberland's most sought-after villages, it's hard to beat this location.
The house is redecorated throughout every year and very well cared for, so it is always fresh, comfortable and ready for our guests to enjoy.
A fantastic Beadnell location
Everything you need for a relaxing stay is within easy walking distance. Beadnell's beautiful beaches are on the doorstep, with The Landing just a few minutes' walk away, while the village shop, The Craster Arms and local restaurants are all within around 5–10 minutes on foot.
The house is also ideally placed for exploring the Northumberland Coast, including Bamburgh Castle, the Farne Islands, Holy Island, Seahouses and Alnwick.
The house
The Beach House is a spacious, detached property sleeping a maximum of six guests across three bedrooms.
The main living space is on the first floor to make the most of those fabulous sea views. The large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is a lovely sociable space, with a picture window overlooking the sea and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings.
The well-equipped kitchen has granite worktops, a central island and a Nespresso coffee machine. Doors lead directly onto the balcony – a real evening suntrap, with an outdoor dining table and seating (in the summer!).
Also on the first floor is a King sized bedroom and modern family bathroom with bath and handheld shower.
On the ground floor you'll find a further double bedroom and twin bedroom with comfortable pocket-sprung beds, together with a shower room with a powerful double shower.
There's also a separate games/TV room, ideal for children or teenagers wanting their own space (you're welcome to bring a games console to connect to the TV), plus a utility room with washing machine and access to the rear garden.
Outside
As well as the first-floor balcony, there is a patio garden to the rear with a masonry barbecue and bike racks.
The property is detached and has off-road parking.
Included in your stay
White bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are all included. We have Go Fibre Infinity Wi-Fi throughout the house.
Logs for the wood-burning stove are not provided but can be purchased locally.
Perfect for exploring Northumberland
Beadnell is a wonderful base for enjoying the Northumberland Coast, whether you're here for long beach walks, surfing, paddleboarding, cycling, wildlife or simply relaxing by the sea.
The area is particularly special during the summer months when Arctic terns can be seen around Beadnell Bay – and guests have even been lucky enough to spot dolphins from the house on many occasions.

Bamburgh Castle – approx. 5 miles
Alnwick – approx. 12 miles
The Beach House is also a great base if you're attending a wedding at Newton Hall, Bamburgh Castle or Ellingham Hall.
Changeovers & short breaks
During the main summer school holidays, we generally offer full-week stays with Friday changeovers.
At other times of year, we offer:
Three-night weekend breaks
Four-night midweek breaks
10 night breaks are becoming more popular
Monday and Friday changeovers
A 10% couples' discount is available during selected off-season periods in January, February, November and December, excluding half-term, Christmas and New Year.

Spotless, very well kitted out, especially in the kitchen. Wonderful views of the sea from the front windows. Very useful balcony off the kitchen, getting the afternoon sun. Good garden with a big area of hard surface and lawn.
