Very helpful and polite staff. Delicious French-style breakfast served with coffee, tea, and juice. The location is perfect — just a 1–2 minute walk from the Kasbah Mosque, with many good restaurants and shops nearby.

During our stay, it rained, and the sound of the rain was quite noticeable at night (glass and opened roof window). The room also felt a bit damp and cold, but fortunately, an electric heater was provided. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Our flight was very delayed and the customer service was amazing. They offered a ride from the airport and then tracked our flight. Someone was there to meet us after midnight and guide us to the Ryad. Fabulous - and a relief after a long travel day.

The staff were the best thing about this hotel. Nourdine and the team were fantastic and provided us with VIP service. They found out it was my daughter’s birthday and got a cake for her. The place is in a good location and they have a smart TV which you can use Netflix for. Good food place outside the hotel and 10 minutes walk to the square. Very traditional hotel - more apartment style.

- They advertised a swimming pool on the website and also on the booking.com website which is misleading. This is actually a pond and for show. I was really disappointment by this as we wouldn’t have booked the hotel int he first place. My daughter love the water and as a result, we went to a water park. They did mention that the owner has another hotel about 10 minutes away and we can use the pool free of charge but that’s not the point. You can’t state you have a swimming pool when it’s a pond. - The breakfast was repetitive and they had the same options pretty much everyday so it got boring. They did provide us with eggs upon request. - Cleanliness was an issue. One day, we returned to the hotel and we found a big coakroach in the bathroom - it was horrible. Also, there were a lot of ants around the bathroom area and this made us uncomfortable. We were told this is due to the heat but this needs to be addressed. Also, on the last day, we saw that the kitchen was dirty.
