The room was very clean and well maintained, and we really appreciated that. Because of this, we made sure to tidy everything before leaving and even took our trash out ourselves. When we made the booking, we indicated that we would be staying with our cat, and if theres an additional fee theres no problem for me to pay, and since the property states that pets are allowed, we did not message the property directly because we assumed this would be okay. When we arrived, however, they seemed surprised that we had a cat with us, which made us feel that our booking may not have been properly checked. Thankfully, the kind woman who assisted us was very understanding and told us that it was fine and that there was no problem at all. What made me feel uncomfortable was when my partner said another lady later entered the room and immediately told that next time, we should contact the property directly to inform them that we have a cat, even though the kind woman who initially assisted us had already told us that it was fine and that there was no problem. Although she may not have intended it negatively, the way it was communicated made me feel like our cat was not really welcome, despite us having included the pet in our booking. As for the location, it is not too far from the city center, which is convenient. However, the walk from the bus stop to the property can be a bit tiring, especially after a long day of exploring. Overall, we appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the kindness of the woman who initially helped us. I just hope that in the future, they can make sure to check the booking details beforehand, especially when guests have already indicated that they are bringing a pet. This would help avoid misunderstandings and make guests with pets feel more welcome from the beginning.
