an excellent way to experience the livings in Italian countryside!

- very clean and cozy - kitchenette is very nice, would be even better if a proper cutting knife is provided - very quiet - perfect place to enjoy nature - satellite tv

water drainage in shower room is not good, be careful not make the ground a pool when you take shower. also it would be nice if the drainage hole is cleaned.

Cosy, well equipped house in middle of nature

It is a beautiful house located in a remote area. The house is fully equipped and has a cozy atmosphere. Big plus is the garden, where you can sit or dine. The river is at walking distance and a beautiful place to relax & refresh.

There is no connection to internet (4g) inside the property, but it is part of the remote/nature experience. In the garden it does work though.

Beautifully restored old farm house

Absolutely beautifully restored old farm house run by very friendly host Claudio. Lovely garden and hiking paths and river swimming practically on the door step. Clean and comfortable!

The entire area was buzzing with noisy moterbikes on Sunday, but weekdays and evenings were nice and quiet!

Exceptional

We really enjoyed our time at Pieve di Cá Maggiore and highly recommend a stay there. It's a clean and cosy apartment in an ancient, but well renovated house. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short term stay. The owner is very friendly and offers help whenever it is needed. The apartment also has a beautiful garden and is located in the green tuscan mountains with a river nearby, where it is possible to swim.

Exceptional place, very good hosts... An superb way to discover this region of Italy.

Second Time in the Pieve, just perfect. Region is very nice. The Pieve is in a perfect position to visit Tuscany or the region of Modena and Bologna. There are a lot of nice roads around, you have also lots of hiking places. The river which is very close from the Pieve is also perfect to refresh yourself and sunbath. Claudio and his familly are very nice hosts. You fell at home, but in a very nice place and in a very nice house.

The house was so nice! And also the inside was super well kept and beautifully renewed in old style, with great woodwork! Such a nice experience to stay here. Also the area was really nice, we enjoyed swimming in the rocky river a lot :)

Un luogo meraviglioso

Un'esperienza indimenticabile in una casa meravigliosa immersa nella natura, tra le colline della vallata del Santerno. Un luogo incantevole che trasmette pace e serenità. L'appartamento è spazioso, curato, accogliente e molto confortevole, con un bellissimo giardino nel quale rilassarsi. La casa si trova in un borgo molto suggestivo e tranquillo. E' possibile raggiungere rapidamente il fiume a piedi e fare escursioni. Il titolare è stato molto gentile e disponibile e ci ha fornito informazioni utili.

Belleza y relax

La ubicación y el entorno son excelentes. La atención y la amabilidad del propietario también. El detalle y cuidado del alojamiento. Zona muy tranquila, perfecta para desconectar, descansar y disfrutar del entorno. El río Santerno a pocos metros. A 1h y cuarto de las principales ciudades de la Toscana y de Emilia Romagna.

Un moment suspendu

La chance de loger dans une maison du 18eme qui a été refaite avec soin et simplicité et bien une rencontre avec cette simplicité. Un moment suspendu 💕🙏 Le jardin magnifiquement entretenu. L’accueil adorable de Claudio. En plus la rivière dans le bas et le kiosque où se sustenter suffisent largement à s’occuper si vous n’avez p s envie de bouger. Et sinon les activités sont nombreuses entre les villes, villages, balades aux alentours.

Ländliches Idyll

Der Gastgeber Claudio empfing uns sehr freundlich. Er gab uns eine tolle Einweisung ins Appartment und die Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten vor Ort. Dafür hat er Unterlagen im Haus liegen. Diese zeigen viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten, auch für Familien mit Kindern. Es ist kein Internet im Haus verfügbar (weder mobil noch WLAN). Die Beschreibung und die Bilder zum Objekt passen prefekt. Meine Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt. Es ist ein Idyll zum Runterkommen. Das Inventar an Besteck und Geschirr ist mehr als ausreichend. Zur Küchenausstattung gehören ein Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, ein Induktionsfeld mit drei Kochfeldern und Abzugshaube, eine Mikrowelle und eine Mokkamaschine. Mehr als ausreichend. Die Städte Ravenna, Florenz und Bologna sind jeweils für einen Tagesausflug gut erreichbar. Sowohl übers Land als auch über die Autobahn. Am Haus führt ein 15 km langer Wanderrundweg vorbei. In der Nähe der nächsten Stadt (Firenzuola) gibt es einen Campingplatz, von wo aus man mehrere Wanderwege begehen kann. In Firenzuola gibt es einen tollen Supermarkt, in dem vorwiegend regionale Produkte angeboten werden. Da gibt es alles, um sich selbst zu versorgen.
