Old fashioned little hotel with great views of the Genoese tower and pretty bay. Can’t go wrong. The view from the balcony is superb. The restaurant opposite - Le Soleil Couchant - was fab and right on the water. We had a lovely boat ride at 60 euro per person with Le Pass Partout people recommended by the hotel. Not to be missed. We went on the pink boat and did the whole trip - Scandola National Park and Girolata included. No drinks etc on the boat. The time passed quickly. Only one thing is that commentary was all in French. Go to Evisa and the Cascade and rock pools. You are not supposed to swim in there but…. It was a dream!
Need more cushions to rest the back on for reading, mugs and glasses in the room were missing. Papee cups are not really a great idea. However, we asked for mugs so we could make our own tea and glasses for wine- so all ok. There is a kettle in the room and mini fridge so all good.
