Aura Tourist Hotel

The AURA Hotel in Ansan is well located, with restaurants and other facilities within easy reach. I would like to positively mention that the hotel reacted to my previous feedback regarding the emergency safety/fire lights in the guest rooms. In the rooms I stayed in recently, these life-saving emergency lights were working properly again, which I appreciate.

The only negative point is that the windows in the guest rooms are still very dirty. They have not been cleaned for at least three years, and I have been staying at this hotel roughly twice per month during that time.

The hotel is in an excellent location, making it easy to relax after work. The rooms are well equipped; most have a bathtub and other pleasant amenities. Tea and coffee are provided, as well as water (three bottles in the in-room refrigerator and unlimited water available in the lobby). A fully automatic coffee machine is available in the lobby 24/7. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. All beds are equipped with memory foam mattresses, although they are still quite firm. There is a large smart TV that allows you to use YouTube and other streaming services if you log in with your own account. There is also a PC in the room, which I haven’t tried yet, but it seems to work.

One point I would like to mention, which I have observed for quite some time - as I stay at this hotel almost every week for one or two nights - is the condition of the windows, which are very dirty in all rooms, and the safety flashlights in the rooms, which are not functioning. As these flashlights are part of the hotel’s safety equipment, their malfunction is a matter of concern. In an emergency situation, such as a fire, this could pose a serious risk. I trust that the hotel management will take this safety-related issue seriously and ensure that the emergency flashlights in all rooms are checked and restored to proper working condition as soon as possible.
