Zangoulos Villa

The location is beautiful, such a wonderful village surrounded by beautiful mountains. The villa was very spacious. Everything was comfortable. A/C and hot water worked well. There is nearby parking which is great as you need a car to explore the surrounding area. The owner was a helpful guy who gave me a lot of tips and help with how to explore the local hikes and nature nearby. Everything worked well.

A very charming and atmospheric house in the old part of a very old village. The downstairs had a lot of Cyprus antiques. in the summer when we stayed it’s a bit dark down there but I imagine it’s very cozy in the winter with the woodburning stove. The upstairs bedroom with balcony is light and comfortable and the bathroom was modern, clean and had everything we needed. I liked that we could hear the stream – very relaxing.

Only that the downstairs room was dark, but we didn’t need to spend time there. Tall people might have headroom problems coming down the stairs but that’s the nature of these old houses.

Está en la zona antigua de Kakopetria. Tienes una vivienda con una habitación para ti solo. Tiene cocina. Se puede aparcar a menos de 4 minutos del alojamiento.

La cama era corta para personas altas. Mido 1,88 m y tuve que dormir en diagonal para no sacar los pies. Solo fuimos a dormir y a ducharnos. Cuando llegamos por la noche y quisimos ducharnos el termo eléctrico estaba desconectado como todas las tomas de corriente. No sabíamos ni dónde estaba ni cómo se encendía. Así que nos duchamos con agua fría. El propietario nos dijo por la mañana que no era bueno tener el termo encendido todo el tiempo ... porque gasta electricidad, que solo teníamos que esperar 30 minutos. Pagas 90 € por una noche y no enciende ni el termo para que tengas agua caliente. La planta baja huele a cerrado y no tiene ventanas para ventilar sino dejas la puerta abierta. Pagas en EFECTIVO en el alojamiento. Cuando pasa alguien por la calle no sabes si está en tu habitación o pasa de largo, está mal aislada.
