The hostel was charming. The staff treated us like family and made us very comfortable.

Location was good as it's close to a small mall, a nice park and downtown Cuenca (across the river).
Parking was secure, but a pain to use. It required the assistance of someone working there to open the gate, direct traffic and help car pull out and the opposite in reverse when parking there. There was a long staircase to get to the room which was difficult to manage with a lot of baggage. Staff seemed overworked and as a result not friendly.
