Stunning Loft 2 Floor Unit with Balcony

Location is incredible, very close to dock. The porch is a major high point, we enjoyed cool breezes in the morning and evening with our coffee. We booked this property in particular for 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms on different floors so we didnt hear each other snoring nor require a bathroom schedule. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water. The TV is high quality. Frig is large and held excellent temp. Location is a short golf cart ride (highly recommend) to Playa Cacique (we took the loft's gravity chairs and 1 beach towel each to the beach so no rental fees for chairs or umbrella) and ate breakfast at that hotel's restaurant ($50 for 2 omelets, bacon, toast, coffee and oj). Beds were comfortable. The air-conditioning kept very cool/cold in the main areas, what a relief from the humidity. Michaela and Elena were both very responsive, addressed our needs quickly and pleasantly, and endeavored to make our stay great.

Michaela shared she is updating the property Aug 2025, so everything will get a coat of paint, be bright and fresh. The loft is really really special and can be spectacular. With Michaela committed to giving it some love, I can easily recommend the place. Note we went mid July and many/most restaurants were closed/off-schedule hours. The markets do not have fresh food to prepare in the kitchen so you should really consider bringing all your food on the ferry. The loft has a great stove with many burners so we were bummed we couldn't cook, should you wish to cook bring seasonings and coffee grounds (nice coffee maker provided). There are two sofas on which we took in a movie, perhaps these too will be part of Michaela's updates in August. The air/con allowed us to keep the windows closed, but do check upon arrival they are all closed to prevent unwanted flying visitors.

We can strongly recommend Contadora and the Loft. Michaela (the owner) communicated with us very well. We were picked up at the ferry by Elena, she took us to the apartment and she organized a golf cart for us and a whale watching boat trip that was absolutely fantastic- we´ll have life lasting memories. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and we´ve enjoyed the evening on the terrace with a view of the ocean thru the tree branches. We will definitely come back for longer next time.
