Good size apartment and balcony with view and the bed was really comfy as well!

To spacious and affordable, everything we needed!

The mattress and the pillow were not very comfy,

We asked to move to another room and the second room was better and met expectation however the kitchen was still not a fully equipped. Staff member on the first night was very helpful. Both rooms were clean and tidy.

The apartment we had on the first night was below expectation from the description and cost. The listing advertised a "fully equipped kitchen, desk, modern apartment". We had a rusty frying pan, one large pot with a small lid that did not fit, no racks or trays in the oven, no desk to work from, small bedroom size tv in the lounge, only one small couch, not enough crockery or cutlery, no serving dishes. Basic cooking equipment was not sufficient to self cater however the staff member tried their best to help by providing a new Anko pot set and frying pan however we were unable to use the oven without racks and trays. Our paid parking spot was also used by someone else so we had to park elsewhere. Staff member on second day made comments when they thought we could not hear them which is unacceptable.

If you need to stay on the north side, the apartments are very conveniently located, just a short walk from the train station, RBWH precinct and UQ campus, and Fortitude Valley for bars, restaurants and shops. It’s also a short drive to the Brisbane airport. I enjoyed that the apartments had a kitchenette and were generously sized. Other amenities were available in the building but I didn’t get to use them. A late night check in was possible over the phone.

Unfortunately, I was unlucky with a very noisy neighbours partying in the apartment next to me the first night, but the staff were understanding and overall helpful with anything I needed through the stay. The apartment itself was clean, but there was water dripping from the ceiling in the shower every time the shower was running. I didn’t receive any communication or instructions prior to the arrival, except for the property approving my request for a late check-in via Booking.com. When I arrived close to 11pm, the front door was locked and no one in sight, I had to call the number from the reservation and explain my situation. The person on the other end started to ask for my card details for a deposit and a photo of my driver licence and credit card to upload to their portal. While I understand this is the usual information required at check-in, it can raise suspicions and discomfort if you don’t like providing such information over the phone to a stranger without any prior communication. It would have been helpful if an email or SMS with instructions was provided prior to the arrival to help both parties navigate the check-in more comfortably.
