Beautiful building, the owner puts lots of work in it. The back of the yard is not quite finished, but still nice. Do check the two beautiful old trees in there! Something amazing! Our room faced the inner courtyard, which also is where the outside sitting area is for the restaurant. But fear not, they close at 8Pm so by the time it is time for sleeping, it is all quiet. The owner is super nice. Restaurant on site is quite handy and the food is good and they have delicious home-made limonade.

Our room was specious and generally very nice, but if you are not used to firm mattresses you might find first night not so comfy. Nothing atypical in the area, our friends stayed in different location, as this one was full already, and they had the same firm mattresses experience. Not related to the property itself, but I would love to see some more traditional Slovak food on the menu of the on-site restaurant.

Frühstück vom Büffet, große Auswahl, alles reichlich und lecker. Die Pension liegt zentral, alle historischen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind perfekt und in Kürze zu erreichen. Auf die Burg fährt eine Touristen Kleinbahn (Bathory Express) direkt ab Marktplatz in Nähe der Pension, die Kirche 3 Minuten zu Fuß ab Pension, die Katakomben (gelegentlich geöffnet) sind in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, das Museum in gut 3 Minuten zu Fuß und der Weinhof (Verkauf ab Hof) in gut 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal der Pension ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Essen a la Card bis 20 Uhr, direkt im Gasthaus der Pension erhältlich. Čachtice und Palatin, die perfekte Kombination!

V kúpelni nefungoval ventilátor

- priestory Penziónu boli krásne, dobovo a s citom zariadené, zrekonštruované, - čistota, - poloha v centre Čachtíc, ideálna aj ako štart na turistiku, - možnosť ubytovať sa so psíkom. Ak ste veľmi veľmi unavení, spíte ako zarezaní, alebo potrebujete niekde prespať so psíkom, ubytovanie je fajn.

- steny izby ani dvere do izby vôbec neizolovali hluk z vedľajších, dokonca ani z tých ďalších izieb (bolo počuť rozhovory a iné medziľudské aktivity, splachovanie toaliet, sprchu...), búchanie vchodových dverí do penziónu, dverí na izbách, aj tých do kúpeľní, - dvere do izby nemali prah, pri každom zasvietení svetla na chodbe, odtiaľ svietilo do izby, - od cca 8.30 ráno sa v reštaurácii na prízemí klepú rezne, počuť rozhovory personálu, - matrac veľmi nepohodlný, tenký, preležaný, vankúš rovnako - taký ten bez tvaru. Neodporúčam, ak si chcete oddýchnuť.
