LA CINCIALLEGRA is an ancient rural house expertly restored, developed on 2 floors, with fixtures and furniture made by hand.

On the ground floor there is the kitchen with large fireplace and small wood oven, original terracotta flooring and exposed beams, complete with fridge, TV and washing machine; the bathroom with shower; terrace with pergola, table, barbecue and panoramic view of the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

On the first floor are the double bedroom and the bedroom with two single beds, with the possibility of adding a cot. The floors are made of wood.

Perfect for those who love silence, nature, tranquility, greenery, good air and water, walks in the mountains, in the woods and by the sea. Proximity to historical, archaeological and natural sites.

Absolutely unique place, which is hard to find anywhere else. It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us.

The property photos didn't show the very steep, ladder-like stairs leading to the second floor. This was a safety concern for the older person in our group, who couldn't climb them safely.While the bathroom and bedding were clean, the kitchen was only partially so. The insides of the cabinets were quite dusty and appeared to have been uncleaned for some time. We also found a layer of dust on most shelves and encountered several large spiders and centipedes.Due to these issues, we decided it was best to leave and find alternative accommodation.

Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings.

This is a remote place to stay, small, quiet, old and charming. It’s really only suitable for a couple maybe with children. The owner was there to meet us. He was thorough in acquainting us with the place and its amenities. We loved it. A real step back in time.

It was a real unusual property, a rustic village house. There is a little known castle ruin a short walk up the hill. Loved the washing machine, fire, cat and the helpful owner. It is hard to find, park at the town crossroads and walk up and right. But the locals will point you to it.

It is a very special cozy house with 2 storeys and an open fireplace in the kitchen. Great wood furniture. You feel like in a castle. Only problem for my dog- there is a kind of ladder to the storey with the bedroom. Not good for it. Otherwise great big bed! Nice little terrace. Everything there in the kitchen that you need . Very friendly host! Brought firewood and chestnuts, lit the fire for us, roasted the chestnuts. We had nice conversations. Great! Only disadvantage: there is nothing in the village, no shop no restaurant. You have to drive for everything quite a bit. But if you are looking for peace and quietness, it's the ideal place:)))

The most beautiful setting, a most beautiful medieval home. We fell in love with everything there down to the very friendly cat who visited regularly. Many hiking trails and hidden places to explore. We have been traveling Europe for a month and this is by far the place I will remember most warmly. Thank you to our gracious host!

This is a very characteristic and charming house. You can feel the effort, love and dedication the owner put in it. The owner is very friendly, and so are the people in this tiny medieval village.The view from the terrace is breathtaking. It is a quite remote place, excellent for those who like silence and nature.

This property is a one of a kind. A magical step back in time. The kitchen is the main seating area, no living room, no tv, small patio, comfortable king size bed, uncomfortable single beds. Perfectly peaceful with amazing views. You could easily have a silence retreat there. It is imperative that you make a specific arrangement with the owner to meet you there. There is no phone or internet reception at the top of the mountain and the owner does not speak English. Messages through the HomeAway website that Expedia connects you to is the best way to communicate, but any change of plan is difficult. Road to the top is steep and windy, about 25 minutes from the base, roughly 9 minutes past Fosdinovo castle. You park in a small lot out front with room for roughly a dozen cars, then walk up a slight incline and down to the right into a series of renovated "units". It's #24. If possible, would recommend the owner leave the unit unlock and keys on the table. There is no crime in the area! We loved it and loved Fosdinovo. A special experience.

apt. 6689223. We stayed here just for a weeend at the end of October. The house was really amazing and cosy, the owner was super kind and welcoming! The weather was surprisingly warm, there is though a great fireplace working just fine! Forniture and finiture are all hand made, giving the house a great look, enhanced by the beautiful tuscan landscape. All in all we were more than pleased by our choice. Thank you!

Ein Ort der Ruhe, der Stille und des Friedens😊 Genau richtig wenn man den Alltag hinter sich lassen will um sich mal wieder richtig zu Erden. Wir waren nach den ersten 15 min total angekommen und relaxed. Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Dieses wunderschöne Alte Haus ist uns nach kürzester Zeit ans Herz gewachsen und wir wollten nicht mehr nach Hause. Alberico, der Eigentümer, ist ein Mensch den man vermutlich nur einmal im Leben kennen lernen darf. Wir sind sehr froh das wir diese Chance bekommen haben. Es war von Anfang an als würden wir uns schon ewig kennen. Zur Landschaft: In den Bergen gelegen, total im grünen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht beim Kaffee auf der Terrasse morgens. Das kleine Dorf hat so viel Charme das man es nur lieben kann. Die Bewohner, falls man welche trifft, sind alle sehr freundlich und typisch Italienisch gelassen. Man kann alles was man braucht im Umkreis finden und auf dem Weg dorthin die Wunderschöne Toskana genießen. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen mit unserem Hund und evtl bringen wir den ganzen Hausstand gleich mit😊 Grazie Mille Alberico😘

Wann hat man schon ein mal die Gelegnheit in einem Haus zu übernachten, das über 600 Jahre alt ist? Es war ein sehr außergewöhnlicher Urlaub in einem fast verlassenen Dorf mit nur der Katze als Nachbar. Eine ungewöhnlich Ruhe. Die Aussicht auf die apuanischen Alpen ist grandios. Ein angenehm aufgeschlossenen Vermieter, der dieses alte Haus mit so viel Liebe und Umsicht renoviert hat und noch renoviert. In der Umgebung gibt es so viel zu sehen. Die Lage an der Grenze zwischen Toskana und Ligurien ist optimal für Leute, die gerne auf Entdeckungreise gehen. Man hat sowohl Berge, als auch Meer.

Man taucht ab ins Mittelalter. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde dieses Haus restauriert. 3-4 Personen haben ausreichend Platz. Das Bad und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr sauber. Die serpentienreiche, schmale Straße führt hoch nach Ponzanello, bitte unbedingt an der Via de Castello 8 - gegenüber ist auch der Ortsparkplatz, halten. Dann auf den sehr freundlichen Vermieter warten. Er spricht nur italienische und etwas englisch. Die letzten Meter geht es zu Fuß zum Haus. Dort hat man nicht nur einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die Berge, sondern man kann auch nachts viele Tierstimmen hören. Es lässt sich oben sehr gut wandern. Aber auch berühmte Küstenorte, wie La Spezia, oder Cinque Terre lassen sich mit dem Auto aufsuchen. Wir verweilten Mitte September im Gemeindegebiet Fosdinovo. Gern mal wieder.

Posizione non strategica per girare la costa ligure. Adatta ad un soggiorno isolato che non aspira a contatti con la comunità, in quanto ridotta all'osso. L'auto risulta indispensabile per raggiungere qualsiasi tipo di meta di interesse turistico o di approvvigionamento alimentare o di altro tipo. I tempi di percorrenza per la città risultano lunghi e costringono a percorrere strade di non facile comprensione. Consigliato agli amanti dello sport del ciclismo come base per rifornimetno di acqua alla fontanella pubblica.

Alberico hat dieses uralte Haus liebevoll restauriert. Es hat als Heizung einen Kamin in der Küche, der eine wunderbar heimelige Atmosphäre macht in diesem alten Gemäuer. Als wir abends im Oktober ankamen, hat Alberico uns durch das Haus geführt. Dabei fielen so Details ins Auge wie ein Brett, auf dem etliche Jahrhunderte alte Schlüssel angebracht waren, die er beim Ausheben gefunden hatte. Wir unterhielten uns noch ein Weilchen mit meinen paar Brocken Italienisch und seinen drei Worten deutsch. Er ist ein ganz freundlicher Mann. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf die bewaldeten Hügel und weiter zu den Apuanischen Alpen. Im Dorf haben wir nur zwei andere Seelen wahrgenommen, man ist im Herbst also ziemlich allein. Die Anreise nach Ponzanello ist beschwerlich, die Straße von Aulla ist eng, beschädigt und immer wieder sehr steil. Das Ehebett ist gut, in den Einzelbetten in der Nebenkammer hing ich mit meinen 80kg durch. Für eine Nacht ging es. Für uns hat sich der Umweg von der Autobahn nach Ponzanello gelohnt. Wir denken gerne an den Aufenthalt zurück.

Cercavamo un luogo tranquillo, poco frequentato, dove poterci godere la quiete, osservare lo scolorire ed intensificarsi del cielo assieme all'avvicendarsi dei suoni serali e mattutini, in un'alloggio che si integrasse con questa sensazione di forme di vita che scorrono l'una nell'altra. Una bellissima casa liminale tra borgo evanescente e bosco, le Apuane in fondo allo sguardo.

Nichts für Leute, die Rummel brauchen! Natur und Stille, ein grandioser mittelalterlicher Kamin- absolutes hideaway zum Stress abschalten. Wer gern selbst kocht, findet eine gut ausgestattete Küche vor. Der Standard ist zwar einfach, aber völlig ausreichend. Die Abgeschiedenheit mit uralten Wegen ist einzigartig besonders in der Nachsaison. Wir haben den üblichen „Hotelstandard“ in keiner Weise vermisst. Bad und heißes Wasser sind bestens, der Blick von der Terrasse zu allen Tageszeiten grandios! Der Handyempfang schwankt, aber auch das ist manchmal wohltuend. Auch wenn TV / Radio bestens funktionieren, braucht man das hier nicht. Für Paare zu empfehlen, da das große Bett bequem ist!

Wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig. Ein so liebevoll wieder hergerichtetes Haus. Da steckt Herzblut drin. Sehr heimelig und speziell und ein wundervoller Blick in die Berge. Die ganze Familie hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider spricht keiner von uns Italienisch. Wir hätten uns mit Alberico so gerne ausfühlich unterhalten. Sehr sympatisch und entspannt. Ich habe 2 Anregungen für zukünftige Mieter: 1. lassen Sie sich die Handynummer von Alberico geben. Über FeWo hatte ich nur die Festnetznummer und 2. nehmen Sie Mückennetze mit. In der Toskana waren dieses Jahr die Tiegermücken häftig unterwegs. Auch tagsüber. Wir weren gewiss wiederkommen und danken für den herzlichen Empfang.

We had a lovely time in Alberico's house. The village and the house breath the charme of another century. The terrace has a wonderful view of the surrounding hills and trees. Who is looking for a mountain retreat, calm and without any traffic noise, will find a good spot here. Alberico was very friendly and checked if we' re fine or missing something. Down to Lerici it takes about half an hour by car. So, it's okay to do... It's important to know that the master bedroom needs to be passed through if you want to enter into the second bedroom, which might not be perfect for some people as you don't have much of a privacy. The second bedroom is very simple but no surprise as you can see it on the photos. We had a good time here. :)

In un piccolo borghetto medievale intimo e placido, ci aspettava questa casina a pietre vive dove il legno faceva da padrone. Siamo state accolte amichevolmente dal proprietario Alberico, con il quale abbiamo condiviso piacevolmente una cena, tanti bei racconti e chiacchierate. Intorno si possono visitare tante cose, per esempio, il castello di Malaspina a Fosdinovo, il paese e meravigliarsi davanti alla vista del mare. O sennò proprio vicino alla casetta c'è un sentiero nel bosco facilmente percorribile. Ogni tanto, dove gli alberi lasciano spazio ai cespugli e si può vedere bene il panorama, non si potrà fare a meno di notare le Alpi Apuane che eleganti si immergono nel cielo. Ci sarebbero tantissime altre cose da dire, ma vi auguriamo di poterle vivere direttamente. è assolutamente un posto da conoscere e apprezzare. Eva e Valeria

Das Haus liegt wirklich malerisch - allerdings müssen vom Parkplatz bis dahin rund 100 m über einen teilweise steilen und unebenen Weg zurückgelegt werden. Der Vermieter spricht nur ITALIENISCH! Er ist ein freundlicher Geselle, jedoch schlecht erreichbar - und nur TELEFONISCH, nicht per sms o.ä. Für 2 Personen ist das Haus empfehlenswert - aber nur für einen Kurzaufenthalt. Ich bin einiges gewohnt, aber in dieser Küche (ein hinreißend rostiger Herd, und eine mehr als vorsintflutliche Kaffeemaschine) wollte ich nicht einmal Wasser heiß machen... Es ist absolut malerisch, ganz entzückend. Im zweiten Schlafzimmer haust jedoch Viehzeug jeder Art, und die Ameisenkolonne hat mich etwas abgeschreckt... Das Bad ist überraschend neu, und die Dusche ist prima. Ich sagte meiner Tochter, dass es eben Wohnen wie für die Bergleute früher sei. "Ja, und wie für Deutsche Touristen", war ihre Antwort...

Bonjour, Nous avons séjourné 6 jours dans cette petite maison de village accompagné de notre fille et notre chien. Cadre apaisant, petit village tranquille, nature très verdoyante. C'est une maison de caractère, rustique mais très bien équipée, avec cheminée. Propriétaire accueillant. Terrasse très agréable avec une jolie vue sur les montagnes. Literie confortable. Mais attention chambres à l'étage avec un escalier assez raide - accès difficile pour les tous petits et sécurité à l'étage limitée... petit défaut de ces vieilles maisons : une salle de bain un peu humide. Mais région magnifique. Très beaux villages médiévaux aux alentours et si vous n'avez pas peur de faire un peu de route beaucoup de coins sont à découvrir. Nous avons pu profiter des 5 terres, de Pise, Lucca .... Super vacances. Merci pour votre accueil.
