Stunning views, quiet location, friendly and relaxed host, comfortable bed plus we enjoyed the access to the patio in the lovely garden, the deck with beautiful views and well equipped kitchen.

Our room was unfortunately not serviced. Would have preferred fresh milk instead of long life milk for tea and coffee

The location was perfect, I had the hideaway room, where I could litterally lie on the bed, see & hear the ocean - just what I was after.

The shower times that were set for certain periods only, due to the times geysers are switched on, but it was a small price to pay & understandable if trying to be water conscience. Bathroom, I feel like having a bath tub in there that one cannot use - should be removed & possibly updated.

THIS IS NOT A GUEST HOUSE!!!! No breakfast as advertised. Toilet leaked, had to fix it ourselves. Used towels to dry, no spare towels. No room service. Beds very uncomfortable.

The communal area was wonderful, had a lot of fun. Very beautiful, and lots of extras for the guests which was lovely. We enjoyed every moment!

Not much, the braai area for the downstairs apartment was right by our room only opening window. Sadly when we left the windows open for air the lunch time and dinner braai would kill our room with smoke, also the lady smoked 24/7 which would come up to the room which forced us to leave the room. Other than that it was lovely thank you!

I loved the peacefulness of the location. It's a perfect escape from the hustle ans bustle of the city.

The lack of entertainment in the area was quite a bummer. When you have a child with you, you want to have more fun things to explore, but there weren't any fun things in the area.

I booked their because of the beaitiful pictures on the website with the chairs on the balcony and the beaitiful interior BUT instead we were placed in a room with a bathroom and kitchen. We had to sit on our bed the entire time and there were hardly any space for our suite cases. For the price think it was a rip off

Unfortunately, no backup with loadshedding (yet); stove is electirc so you can't cook during loadshedding (which depending on the stage is usually most of the day); the apartment was dirty with stains on bedding.

The property is well situated and very clean. We loved the sea-view and we enjoyed our stay. We only slept at the property since we travelled to Jacobsbaai for a festival but we loved Yzerfontein. We can definitely recommend this property.

small things needed attention… curtains fell off end of rails… no where to put rubbish bag when bin full and the middle bathroom plug in shower wasn’t draining … none of which affected our wonderful stay but worth mentioning
