Apartmá u Hovorků

The hostess is a kind and welcoming woman. We absolutely loved the tranquil location by the Vltava River — it is very peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped, with all the amenities you may need. The beds in the living room are comfortable and we slept very well. We also appreciated the option to pay on site using a QR code, rather than cash only. Overall, the place is clean.

We would happily stay here again, so the following points are meant as friendly suggestions for improvement. We personally prefer the flexibility of self check-in and check-out when travelling, so having to agree on exact times for in-person check-in and check-out felt a bit limiting. Of course, meeting the host is nice, but more flexibility would be appreciated. We were also a bit surprised by the expectation that guests should strip the beds and sweep or vacuum the floor before departure, or otherwise pay an additional fee. In our experience, this is not common on Booking.com, so it might be helpful to highlight this more clearly in advance. The same applies to the requirement of a 1,000 CZK cash deposit. We chose to sleep in the living room, as the bedroom has a sloped ceiling and one person would not be able to sit up comfortably in the bed. While the apartment is generally clean, we noticed that some dishware had not been properly cleaned by previous guests. The bathroom window showed signs of mould, and there were quite a few spider webs on the staircase (not a major issue, but a quick clean would make an even better impression :) ).
