Welcoming staff people. Renovated historical building. From the top-floor Terrace room, a wonderful view of the top half of the Galata tower (so lovely when illuminated at night) and also of a wide sweep of the hills on the other side of the Galata bridge, including major mosques. Great neighborhood, though on the weekend absolutely jam-packed with tourists and revellers, including many local people; in short, a highly desirable spot. Very close to Sishane metro (M2), you can walk through the adjacent parking structure and be at the hotel in minutes (get the desk person to explain).

Though I didn't need to prepare any meals, the kitchen was poorly equipped with only one small pot and perhaps a fry pan, an odd assortment of mismatched plates, and essentially no counter space. Perhaps because there are so many restaurants around to eat at, one doesn't really need a full kitchen set-up?
