Beautiful grounds and room. Very comfortable bed. Wonderful friendly staff. Good dinner and breakfast.
We knew it would be down an undeveloped gravel road but some people may not like that. But not a problem if you took it slowly.

Beautiful grounds with lots of wildlife. The room was spacious and the bed big and comfortable. Water is filtered so you can drink it (unlike in most of the country). Pool are was our favourite spot to get out. We liked having access to a kitchenette. The staff here are really amazing and truly made our stay.
Kitchenette felt really old, it could do with a refurb. And despite having a stove, there were no pans to cook with. The restaurant food is good but we found it quite expensive. It’s also best if you have your own car as the property is at the end of a long dirt road, and the hotel will charge USD$10 for a one way ride to the local village (which doesn’t has much, but from there you can easily catch the bus to Belmopan, San Ignacio, etc. )

The rooms are separate units, all of them are log cabin style modules. They were able to accommodate the 3 of us in a room with a separate bed. The surroundings are astounding, overlooking the Belize River and the rainforest.
In general the hotel and rooms are old and could definitely use maintenance. Some rooms are very far away from the front desk and restaurant, about a 15 min walk. We were a big group with several rooms and in a few of them we had SERIOUS cleaning issues, as if the rooms hadn't been cleaned at all after the previous guests left.... awful. The restaurant wasn't great either.
