About this cabin rental
Recently updated and fully furnished for minimum 3 night stay! Enjoy this very private, charming and fully furnished 1-bedroom (loft), 1-bath cabin, located in Greenbank, Central Whidbey area. This charming little cabin-in-the-woods is located on 5 acres, surrounded by nearly 60 acres of sparsely inhabited acreage. Complete with original artwork, spiral staircase, front porch, side patio with propane barbecue and sitting area, loft bedroom and kitchenette. Activities nearby include hiking, fishing, boating and sight-seeing in the historic towns of Langley and Coupeville.
The moment you step foot on this property you will enjoying sitting back and relaxing on the front porch listening to the bird life which surrounds the property, complete with owls and many other birds. Also, you will have visits from our deer friends who come to enjoy the peace and serenity of this property.
AMENITIES: Complete with covered side patio, loft bedroom (Full size futon and topper, sleeps 2 upstairs), kitchenette, oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator, washer/dryer, Vermont propane fireplace heater, Vintage claw-foot tub/shower, barbecue, contained outside fire pit. We do have wifi, and streaming TV and a landline phone, although we have found that cell reception has improved greatly over the past few years.
Island Happenings: You will enjoy all that there is to do on the island; we provide maps and hiking information. Many hikes can begin right here from our property and there are numerous other hikes available a short drive away. Whether enjoy hiking the old growth forest only a few miles away, or enjoy a bluff top hike along the Puget Sound at nearby Ebey's Landing. The island is now host to many wonderful restaurants where you will enjoy many organic options and local fare including Penn Cove muscles. Also, you will enjoy the many art galleries throughout the island and antique shopping aplenty!

This is the most magical cabin I’ve stayed at in the PNW. Corinne and her partner have thought of everything! The grounds are breathtaking and the cabin is unbelievably beautiful. So many special touches inside and outside, stocked with everything you need. What a privilege to stay here and get to relax in the wilderness. 10 out of 10 stars, note if it was possible.

This cabin was an amazing treasure we were blessed to have stayed in. The meticulous care put into this place is obvious. It is rustic and charming and the property is absolutely breathtaking. It truly feels like you are entering another realm. It almost felt like we were stepping back in time to a simpler and more beautiful world. If luxury bathrooms are a priority for you then this is not the claw foot tub for you!! Everything was well thought out and so many personal touches that made it feel very welcoming. Cleanliness was excellent as well. The stairs are steep and a bit difficult to maneuver if you have mobility issues and as my son is disabled we had him sleep on the pullout couch on the ground floor which worked great. You might want to block it off for small children as a possible safety issue. The hostess was quick to respond to all communication and very helpful with useful information and updates.A true gem!!!

If you're looking for a homebase on Whidbey Island that feels like secluded oasis surrounded by nature, but that allows access to the multiple adorable island towns, look no further. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take time for myself to just... be, and thats exactly what I got here. And then when I got a bit antsy and needed some adventure, I was able to shoot into town(s!) to do some shopping, eating, sightseeing, hiking, etc. Corinne is an amazing host who made me feel well cared for and welcomed. She's super organized and responsive in her communication with guests, and has set this place up anticipating the needs of short and long term guests alike. I highly recommend and hope to go back soon!
